PhoneGuard+: Mobile Security

PhoneGuard+ is a call, text, and Wi-Fi safety utility built around native iPhone capabilities. It uses iOS Call Directory and Message Filter extensions to perform matching and classification within the system-supported scope. It does not access Contacts, use advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, or send received message content to a developer-operated server. [NATIVE CALL BLOCKING] • Provides separate blocking lists for reported scam, marketing, robocall, and international call categories • Lets you add and manage a personal block list • Uses iOS Call Directory extensions to process matching numbers during the system call flow • Lets you enable or disable each list separately in iOS Settings [ON-DEVICE TEXT FILTERING] • Matches eligible unknown-sender SMS/MMS provided to the extension by iOS • Supports sender and keyword rules for Always Allow, Junk, Promotion, and Transaction categories • Uses bundled number data to help identify potentially unwanted sources • Does not access Contacts, process iMessage, or upload received message content or saved filtering rules [AI RULE BUILDER] • Uses Apple’s on-device model to convert your description into a draft filtering rule when the model is available • If the Apple model is unavailable, sends only the rule description you enter to Replicate over encrypted HTTPS • Received messages, Contacts, saved rules, and device identifiers are not included in the Replicate request • Drafts are shown for review and saved only after you approve them • Manual rule creation remains available when the network or AI service is unavailable [BASIC WI-FI SAFETY CHECK] • Checks whether the device is connected through Wi-Fi • With your permission, reads the Wi-Fi security type provided by iOS • Tests whether an HTTPS connection to Apple’s public connectivity service remains encrypted and passes system certificate validation • Does not read or store coordinates, the Wi-Fi network name, or the router identifier [PRIVACY FIRST] • No developer account, ads, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs • Received message content is never sent to Replicate • Filtering rules and personal block lists stay on the device by default • Optional personal call-block-list sync uses your own iCloud private database and can be disabled or deleted in Settings • Purchases and Restore Purchases are handled by Apple; PhoneGuard+ does not receive card or payment-account details [IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS] • Call blocking and text filtering must be enabled in iOS Settings • Text filtering applies only to eligible unknown-sender SMS/MMS provided to the extension; it does not apply to iMessage or known Contacts • The Wi-Fi check reports limited signals observable by the iPhone.
