After updating I can’t use it so annoying
Rainbow Washing App Icon
The core functionality of the app works fine. However it seems they think it’s okay to change the app icon without user consent for Pride Month, but do absolutely nothing for other months like July or any other cause. This kind of selective, performative branding feels inconsistent and presumptuous. Keep the app neutral or make seasonal changes optional.

Absolutely easy to figure out and very detailed has all info needed for an easier day at the salon . You know who is next how much they paid last appt if they are a new or existing client .you can write notes and formulas and see what products they purchased etc. everything needed
No tip tracking
You’re unable to track individual tips and that is quite frustrating. Unless you go back and audit each individual ticket on the computer you won’t be able to see who tipped you what. Currently you would have to mentally add as you go all day if you want to know your tips and who they come from. Definitely not stylist friendly. Everything else is very good and functions well

I would love to be about to book color and haircut at one time instead of separately. Or have an individual clients appointment time be a set time in the future booking.
Making my clients pay to tip me
I liked Phorest up until my salon brought on Phorest Tips. This program charges each of my clients for leaving a tip to cover “transaction fees”. But most of us aren’t living on day to day tips. When I went to withdraw funds biweekly, I realized my clients were charged a total of $42 over 2 weeks to cover a single withdrawal. Why would a withdrawal cost Stripe $42? I see it as a way for Phorest and stripe to bank on tipping clients when they couldn’t before. All at the expense of my client retention.
