Thank you for your app

I find your app very convenient for organizing those photos that I would like to keep out of the main album, like screenshots and technical drawings. So my photo album is dedicated to family photos and memories.
One thing I’d improve is the note placement. So the note becomes visible once the photo is opened. And it disappears once the photo is full screen stretched.
Thank you for your work .

Good

Its almost perfect for re-organizing my photo albums and adding notes to the albums. But you can't add videos, which sadly defeats the purpose for me.

Would Somebody PLEASE make an app that saves notes under pictures

Would Somebody PLEASE make an app that saves notes under pictures so that they can be easily downloaded and transferred!!

Very useful!

I used to use an app called iVault, which allowed me to store images separate from the Camera Roll, but it doesn’t work in iOS 15 so I searched and found Photo Notes. It can’t be compared with iVault cause they’re for different purposes, but Photo Notes is exactly what I need to organize the photos I take as notes. However, I wish it would preserve metadata like iVault does cause when I export photos from the app I find that metadata are stripped from them. I also worry though that since this app hasn’t been updated since Oct. 2018 that it will soon suffer the fate of iVault, but if the app is updated, I hope metadata support (i.e., non-destructive storage and export) will be implemented.

I wish it could store images on iClould just in case and I’d be willing to pay for an optional upgrade for cloud storage as long as it’s not a subscription. Bad

This app was not broken and worked perfectly but the developers ruined it.

Great for my purpose

I’m a home inspector, and I needed something that was simple yet powerful. This app fit the bill! I can name properties quickly and then make snap shots of defects. I then note the relevant defects and I can mark their places in the report. Great so far!

Can’t get photos out of this app

This theoretically works well but once the photos are there you have to individually save them to your camera roll, which is so inconvenient that I stopped using the app

Response from developer

Glad to hear the app works well for you for its main purpose, but I definitely understand the frustration in not having more options to export your photos. The next update will include additional sharing and export options that will hopefully resolve this issue for you.

Perfect🤘🏻

I didn’t want to write all these notes for my online schooling so I take pictures instead and now I can categorize them and they don’t take up space in my camera roll, it has a great simple design. It’s perfect thank you so much! 🙂

Exactly what I needed

I am using this app for a different purpose, but it’s exactly what I was looking for. I like to make handwritten flashcards and I like to test myself by writing down the answers rather than saying it out loud, and I needed to have them on my phone by taking pictures of them. The flashcards apps wouldn’t let me put both sides of the card with pictures , and the ones that did didn’t have the option of writing down my answer before flipping the card. I also tried with notes and Evernote and it wasn’t practical. With this app I can write the answer on the picture of the front of the card, then swipe to see the picture of the back of the card! So simple! And I love that the background for the note lets me see the picture while I type, and that I can store the flashcards pictures separate from my photos.

Just what I was looking for.

I take pictures of labels, business cards, book covers, to remember all sorts of things... I don't want them on my camera roll in the middle of friends and family. And I don't want a notes app where I have to look for the note, open it and then see the picture I took.
I wanted something this simple, take a pic and add on top of it a quick note for extra info, the app then prganizes them as a list of pictures. It's crazy how difficult it was to find just that! Thank you for this app!

Great simple design

I love this app. I use it to organize shot lists of shots i'd like to recreate. Comes in handy when you show up to a new location and need some inspiration.

Perfect!

I spent hours looking for a way to add some notes to photos (without adding stuff on the face of the photo). This lets you write detailed info about your photo, and you can see the notes or hide them easily. Curtis McCarthy, you are a hero of the revolution.

Great Photo Organizer

This app has help me organize my photos in such an awesome way. I love how you can add notes to photos whether it is a picture with a funny caption or a recipe with ingredients. I don't even use my Apple photo album anymore… This app is totally better!!!

Love it!

Simple to use yet brilliant, makes this app a plus! I use it to take notes for so many things and the best part is I can categorize my notes and have a photo with it. The app came at the perfect time. We made the decision to put in a below ground pool and the photo notes app allowed me to save photos of pools and make note of what features I liked most. I use for developer notes, recipes, home projects I want to do one day, and things I need to remember as well. Great app!

Great way to organize photos.

I love this app. It is simple to use and gets the job done. I use it for everything. It has helped keep my photos organized. I recently started using it for recipes and love that I can take a photo of the entree and then add the ingredients in the notes tab. Very happy with my purchase.
