Great photo captures, below average document
I’ve been very pleased with the quality of the photo captures from 409 and how you can improve your photos with points. I also like that family members can access them and you can share them. I enjoy the record option to capture the voices of family members and their descriptions of life in the photo. My one Dissatisfaction is that when I scan a document, part of the document is cut off even when I have inches of room around it.. This is especially disappointing as I scan old historical documents.

Even after paying a ridiculous amount for a year they then make it so hard to just download your own photos. We didn’t want ai. We even have purchased the yellow app outright but the company is now making it arduously difficult to just download our own photos. Bait and switch from a once off purchase to subscription as a service then lock you out of your own photos. Criminal

Colors
I wish I could edit colors such as eyes, hair, clothes, etc. to make the restorations more realistic. I also wish the app would keep the original automatically when I’m trying to get the best restored look.

It is the way to really save our pictures for the future generations. I think that this app is very easy and it has a magical capacity to transform a blurry image into a beautiful one.

Astounding ease and clarity
I was getting ready to bite the bullet and send piles of old photos to a scanning company. Thank goodness I thought to search the App Store first. Photomyne scans multiple
Photos at once, identifying the edges, automatically straightening them and then vastly improving them. Old photos become much clearer. Faces more visible. It restores old faded pics and can colorize if you want. I’ve even scanned negatives and found baby pics of my husband we’d never seen. It scans slides and full scrapbook pages, too. They then can be organized in folders, location tagged, and use facial recognition. Worth every penny. It has saved me hours of time, or lots of money sending to a scanning company. Excellent App!

Expensive!
I have paid serious money for good apps. I don’t mind paying for a good product. But anytime I start seeing $70, $80, $90 A YEAR for an app - like this app is - I just know the company behind it has lost its mind. And the “free version” usually is either unusable because there are constantly ads you have to close or you are bombarded with “upgrade” ads every 2 minutes.

So time saving!
I inherited thousands of photos from my family over the years. I’ve trying all sorts of apps scanners etc but they were all cumbersome and took too many steps per photo. This phone app is everything it promised to be and more. I’m able to scan a batch 200 photos in minutes. Then go back in and type in the details. I can also add info as discovered. Then I create a link and email it to all members of my family so they all get access and can make copies. It’s awesome!

Greedy
The fact that I can’t look at any of my images without your watermark across them - just to even look at them, makes me want to never give you any of my money ever. You’re hardly the only company that can offer this ability. Nothing stinks worse in late stage capitalism, the nasty gross capitalist greed. I won’t be giving you a dollar. And I do subscribe to apps when it’s worth it I pay for multiple photo apps at this.
I’m willing to bet that this is one of the apps that has it in the terms and conditions that they want to keep your image and use it for AI things of their own indefinitely This reeks of that kind of greed. And reading the other reviews now I’m so glad I did not pay this company anything it sounds like they don’t give you half the features. They say they have once you’ve paid for a subscription.

I’m so surprised how this works.
Not a great app
You get only 6 credits when signing up and paying £20 a month just to scan. Find other apps that either give better options but do not waste your money on this app.
