What's New in Photo Story

1.0.4

July 27, 2026

Photo Story has a new name! We've simplified from "My Photo Story" to "Photo Story" to better reflect the wide age group using the app. This update also brings improvements to the add text feature — text now wraps automatically within the photo frame, you can choose left, centre, or right alignment, and there's no longer a character limit (although there will be limits to how much text can be added to a photo with the larger sizes). Use the slider to adjust text size to suit your photo.

This is a simple app for little learns to take a photo and record their thoughts or ideas.

Simple and effective for learning

Simple tools, free for schools, grounded in good pedagogy - for students to be creative and articulate their own understanding, creating artefacts that capture their learning reflections - this is the edtech we need. And it doesn’t collect data from our kids!

What every junior educator has been waiting for!

Clean, clear interface, so simple to use. Love the option to add a title or name.
