Has its issues, but not bad for a free app
It would be nice if it was more like the old Photoshop Mix that’s no longer available. Show size of each layer when sizing, when duplicating a layer, it be placed in the same location, and a back button on the main screen (if you alter the cutting of a layer, you can’t undo it once back to the main screen. It also wipes everything at times, when you temporarily leave the app and return. Also, I wish it did not reduce image resolution. No matter how high the resolution your image is, it only saves at 0.9MP max. It can be a little frustrating to use at times, but not too bad for a free app.

But this one deserves it. I use this thing ALL the time. And have done so for years. It’s simple; it layers photos. But it layers photos more in depth than a universal photo editing app. They really said “photo layers” and went 10000%. And it’s free. I love this app. Thank you so much for creating this bad boi.

ive been using this app for forever, so glad to see they have updated it recently! i’ve never ever had an issue with it, and it’s very easy to use and understand. if other, more popular apps confuse you, i 100% recommend photolayers. this app honestly needs to be more popular and i don’t understand any bad reviews… i know it doesn’t look like much but it’s great

It keeps freezing when it loads an ad and there’s no timer to force it to expire and even clicking it and going to the app store doesn’t get rid of the ad. Stupid programmer. It also doesn’t let you autocenter an element or stretch it perfectly automatically to each side instead must play games hoping the image is centered. Most annoying too is no built in ability to add text or watermark using text. It also doesn’t let you crop the background images after setting it. It’s too simple.
