The pics were not crisp or sharp

I pay about $350 for professional photos on every listing I have had for the last 5+ years. Business is super slow and so I was trying to cut costs. l downloaded and paid the 9.99 for this app, then started walking around my own home before trying it out at a property I was listing that day and I could not get one good pic. Wanted to immediately cancel but I guess it was a one-time charge. The only thing you are able to change is the lighting. And the picture is grainy or not crisp. Definitely not a quality photo.

Great Photos but lacking options

This app is just what I’ve been looking for. Takes a great photo but it’s lacking features, mainly being that you cannot use a wider angle / ultra wide. There is a wide option but it’s not quite wide enough. If it was able to utilise the wider angles you get on modem phones it would be amazing. I would then definitely pay to remove the watermarks. Interesting if it’s going to be developed any more to adapt to modern phones.

So far so good

I am a REALTOR and use this app to take my listing photos. Just downloaded and paid the 9.99 I hope that was a one time cost and not a monthly cost. So far I am in love with the quality and the MLS sizing option and the easy sharing to my e-mail.

Don’t buy - poor quality

The photos taken with my iPhone have much better resolution.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. We set the resolution of the photos to be sufficient for real-estate photography use, but not so large that adjusting them is slow. Merging the photos to get good results takes significant resources on the phone. As phones get faster and more capable, we are certainly open to looking at increasing the resolution.

It is extremely tedious to get pictures transferred to any platform.

Don’t buy this app.

The colors and filters used by this application are horrible, I do not recommend this application.

We'd be glad to help you with getting better results if you'd like to get in touch with our support team. You can do that from within the app, by tapping on the '?' icon on the top right of the screen, then selecting Contact Support.

Review

Great photos from an iPhone but lacks one FUNDAMENTAL feature. There is no way to name the photos and that feature is also now lacking in “Photos”. Imagine delivering to your client, images of a four bedroom property, how in Gods name is he going to figure out what he is looking at.

Once you pay $9.99 you should be able to access your camera roll

The app restricts usage to photos taken thru the app only. You lose any control you have using 3rd party or built in camera apps. Bummer. Could’ve been worth it.

Hi, and thank you for your feedback. The main purpose of the Photomatix Real Estate Camera app is to take great great real estate photos, especially in tricky places like interiors with bright views through the windows. It does this by automatically taking a number of photos with different exposures, and then combining them so that the final photo shows both the darkest and brightest parts of the scene well. After that, you can apply effects and adjustments. Because it's a camera app which takes multiple photos, you wouldn't get the same effect by just giving it a single photo from another camera app and making adjustments to it. Taking several photos allows you to get results which wouldn't be possible with just one shot. You can of course export the photos you take with the app, and edit them with other apps, or save them to your camera roll. And allowing just the effects to be applied to photos in the camera roll is a feature we may consider adding in the future if there is sufficient demand.

Great app

I am not a real estate photographer but I love how this app balances interior and exterior light. I learned how to do this in 1979 in art school. Most so called professional didn’t start using that technique for another 10 years. The developers are going to update the app to allow larger file sizes.
