These Things Are Missing
Photon is an app with much potential but 4 things that are missing which are.
1. Can not change aspect ratio so you are stuck on 4:3
2. You can not select 24mp which you can on the iPhone photo app
3. Macro is rubbish compared to your old app of Camera+
4. What about copying moment and adding video mode

Subscription or purchase disappointment, 2/18/26.
I looked for and didn’t see anything about a price for this app, nor if it was a subscription. Very disappointed in the developer’s intention to not clearly show it written up in the description. I did see the in app purchase note early. Wondered if it was an app option, or worst it they snuck in a must pay eventually, no matter what - for don’t tell me that it is free because it has a trial of a few days. That is just wrong. That is what they did. It has both! I learned after downloading.

Had the previous app that was discontinued. They said it was replaced by this, but this is a subscription app that doesn’t even do the same thing.
Direct to external SSD
This is the only app I could find that allows me to directly save photos to external storage, which is so nice. The one time purchase option is great too, but disappears if you take the free trial. I reinstalled and then got the one time purchase offer.

Vendre Camera + à une entreprise qui vous demande de payer une deuxième fois, et lancer une nouvelle application qui vous demande de payer un abonnement / une fois : Zéro confiance si vous allez le vendre à nouveau / vous demander de payer à nouveau.
Je vous écris donc pour vous demander de corriger cela et de me redonner un accès complet à camera +, comme vous l'avez dit plus haut a un autre utilisateur.

I love the Photon camera app because it's easy to use
Manual mode crashes
Downloaded to test on iphone 15. Love the look of it and was almost tempted to buy but putting app into manual mode and then attempting to alter iso, shutter speed etc caused the app to crash and close. A bog shame as i was excited to see what improvements were made over camera+

Photon Upgrade , I bought the predecessor to Photon Camera + but had life changing episode and come back to find out now that they have changed to Photon I would think I could get a free upgrade or a discount

Not working after deleting sms reinstalling several times.

Everything about this doesn’t work for me. I have an iPhone 14 and the camera will not connect to the studio and when I take pictures, they don’t show up in my app. I just canceled my subscription, but I’m willing to restart it if I can figure outwhat the deal is.

Honestly glad I got the free trial and never paid money for this, wouldn’t save anything kept telling me there was an error even know I gave it permission to access photos and what not, wouldn’t allow me to do anything. I got the free trial and honestly cancelled it 5 minutes later not worth it at all 😏

New but worse in every way
I loved the Camera + buy what you need - easy to use , cool filters - this new one subscription based, convoluted and pretty much just another camera app.
