Hours wasted and unreliable AI
I’ve spent hours dealing with duplicate accounts, repeated monthly billing emails, and subscription problems support still hasn’t properly resolved. The web version and iPhone app show different designs and export allowances, despite supposedly being the same account. The AI fashion models often alter the clothing, and other AI edits produce nreliable results. Extremely frustrating for a paid Pro subscription.

SO expensive
App has crashed more than 20 times today. Crashed the whole phone 2 of those times. Ever since the update this morning, is UNUSABLE. PLEASE FIX IT, I pay for this!!!

I want a refund
I signed up for a free trial thought it didn't go through had no receipt so forgot about it. Never used the app.Then after the trial period got the money taken out of my account. It's a scam no one answers your emails asking for a refund.
Charged when offered free trial, deleted immediately
I selected free trial and was immediately charged. Not only that but in my case the edits made were no improvement on Gemini chat, couldn’t change the background of the image though granted the placement and lighting were tricky
Reseller Friction Experience
Subscriber since January 2022. Returning after a hiatus, I’m disappointed by how overly complex the app and its pricing structure have become. Resellers rely on speed: batch upload, background removal, template, done. Now, navigation feels clunky, and gating simple features like exports behind complex pricing meters creates unnecessary friction. I’m prepaid through July 2027, which gives me just enough time to retrieve my saved content library while I figure out how to work around these new limitations.

NO TRIAL NEEDED
Cannot cancel your subscription
I would give this zero stars if I could. The app didn’t do exactly what I’d hoped. I signed up for the free trial, and none of the platforms will let me cancel my subscription.
Subscription is bull
Even tho this is a great app to use, trying to cancel the subscription it nonsense. It shows that it’s going to renew on September 19th but yet trying to cancel it thru subscriptions on my account it’s not there as if it’s hidden. Don’t download this app unless you want it haunting you

Photoroom works very well and easy. Will need to work it more to be able to comfort me with it. Plan to use it in the future.

I signed up for a seven day free trial to see if I like this app. I even have s screenshot saying it was a seven day free trial. But they charged me within 48 hours. I promptly canceled on that second day and they refused to give me a refund.

Poor service
I use Photoroom several years without issues. On August 2026 my payment of Pro option automatically was withdrawn from my account. Since payment was successfully completed I can’t open AI models option instead that it’s automatically led to the next option which cost double. There is no option to contact with this company and ask them to help me. Finally I request to cancel my subscription.

There is very little to no features on this app without paying, it should be clearly stated on the app before download that a subscription is required to use it
Why are they hiding the price?
Not a very good start when you can’t find a contact for customer service. I did click on the Support button and was sent to an AI bot that came up with answers nowhere near my question of “what is the cost of the app”? Nothing even close. Also typed in customer service …..nothing. So how much does this cost?

I love the way the App is user friendly
Background color options disappeared
Why the constant changes. Why fix the things that AREN’T broken. Why remove the things that PEOPLE USE. It’s like you don’t like or want to KEEP your users.
Every time I have a good staple I figure out to keep my photos generally uniform, it’s GONE.
There used to be a bunch of background color options I could easily choose from and switch to, and they’re all GONE. Now it’s garbage that takes more work, and I don’t know how to get the colors I was using. Going to start looking for another app. Tired of losing so much productivity time every time you make an awful change.
This is also my peeve with ai backgrounds by the by. Can’t ever save one I like to use for all pics. It has to be diff every time. This isn’t good for many to many even majority of sellers, which I’m guessing is a significant percentage of your users. Whoever is making all of these decisions and changes isn’t thinking things through. At all. Good luck.
