Best photo program
Forget the photo frame! Get a monitor and this app instead. Photo quality is much better and it works similarly without the high cost of a photo frame.
We bought a photo frame first. It worked for 3 months. Customer support was nonexistent. Then we bought a smart TV. Great TV but Photo quality was terrible.
Learn from my mistakes. Get a monitor and this app. You'll be much happier.

Not really compatible with Google Photos
I’m reviewing the Apple-TV app. From the website, it looks like this is an ideal app for Apple TV users who don’t use iCloud Photos but prefer Google photos.
I want to simply view my Google Photos on my Apple TV without requiring mirroring another device.
That’s it. But after downloading the app the TV showed a message saying that Google photo albums are not compatible (I have had all my photos sorted into albums for 15 years). Worse still, it will only import the specific photos I wish to display.
The whole point is that I would like to have access to all of my photos (and especially videos) on the Apple TV. I have hundreds of thousands of photos, and more are added every day. I can’t choose now which photos I’d like to display on the TV. I thought it was simply a 3rd party app for Google photos.
This does not appear to be possible.
Luckily I was able to cancel during the seven day free trial.

Can’t say enough good things
I can’t say enough good things about this app and its founder Brian…. I have a large file of photos and videos that are paramount to my creative process and Brian went the extra mile and then some to make it work with Flickr and Apple TV… Its on here 24 hrs a day….and works seamlessly with Apple Music and TV

Newest Update Has Created Issue
I’ve used this app daily for almost 3 years to display photography work in my studio. Unfortunately, the newest update has introduced a bug where, when fading between pictures, the screen will occasionally flash VERY brightly, which is remarkably distracting and greatly detracts from the overall experience. Hoping they fix this asap

We get to see all
This app is great! We get to see all of our pictures, not just a certain subset of pictures. We’ve been enjoying it.
