App functionality not updated
Received the frame as a gift and finally got around to setting it up. Love the idea of it and the pictures look great but there’s no way to delete photos from the app or website. The UX is so poorly designed it’s pretty much unusable. I see there have been the same issues for a decade while scrolling other reviews. Unfortunate.

App crashes
App crashes when I try to send photos. Got one and now I can’t use it because I can’t send photos.

I have no bad things to say about this, this app may be a bit slow, but it’s so cute walking by the photo spring in our house hold and seeing all of our old photos show up. It’s so adorable! Highly recommend getting one.
Needs work
I don’t own the frame, I use this app to send photos of my kids to their grandparents’ frame. Two features are badly needed:
1) I need to see what photos I’ve already sent to their frame.
2) I need a fullscreen view of the photos as I’m selecting them. I can’t always see which photo I want from the thumbnail. iOS does this perfectly when you hit the share button from a photo.

Doesn’t work
I can’t get it to manage photos in the app.
App is horrible and basic
You can’t see what photos you’ve sent to a frame. You create a playlist but when you go to upload photos to a frame and want to upload to the existing playlist, you can’t see the playlist. The app design and layout is incredibly basic. I wouldn’t suggest the frame for the simple fact that the app is just very underdeveloped.

I saw the reviews and thought can’t be that bad .. I was wrong this thing will drive you crazy . Frame works great, App needs a lot of workcgfire

Not good
Half of the photos I send never come up on the digital frame. This never happened in the past with a previous picture frame from a different brand that had a separate app.
Great frame, decent app.
I haven’t had any problems with the app; however I would like to suggest an update. It would be great if we could completely manage the frame with the app. Also would like to shuffle.

App stalls after photos are selected. Cannot send to the frame.
Does not work with iPhone 13s
We bought this frame for my grandfather who lives out of state. Everyone in my family downloaded the app de we can send him photos. The app works for everyone who has an iPhone 12 or older, but does not work for iPhone 13s. The apps opening screen will stay on for about 30 seconds before it crashes. Very disappointing.

Great but desperately need a feature
Gifted the frame to family across the country that we can’t see because of COVID so they can see what we’re up to. It’s really easy to add pictures. Awesome really!! But would REALLY appreciate the ability to delete pictures off the frame from the app itself. That way I can truly manage the frame for my family and not have to ask them to delete pictures.

This app needs a lot of work. Allows you to do very very very little to manage the frame. Should be able to manage all functions of the frame from the app. You can’t. Fix it people. For what you have to pay for the frame itself we deserve a lot better.
Please fix FB photo sharing
I like the app, and have had no issues using it on my iPhone. However, there must’ve been a recent update that changed some thing because Can no longer send a photo to a photo frame from Facebook using the “share“ option. I click “share” from a photo, then select PhotoSpring, then select the frame, and then upload – – all I get is the spinning wheel. And then when I try to cancel the upload, I also get the spinning wheel, and it stays that way. The only way to get out of it is to force close FB. Please fix this very much used functionality!!

Eh :/
They only allow a select few of my entire photo gallery to choose from. So if I want to add a photo or video from the earliest memories of my phone, I can’t. It also doesn’t load all the photos/videos I try to upload, even after saying they were uploaded successfully. Lagging is also present.

Both the app and the frame are worthless. Never works. Customer service is junky.
Love to see photos on app that are in frame
I love being able to get pictures of my family on our PhotoSpring picture frame. It would be nice to be able to see what photos are already on the frame through the app so we don’t duplicate or load others that are similar. I hope this could be done in an update. With that it would be a 5 star review, 2 stars shows you how much I would like to be able to do this!!
