Annoying ad popup that asks me constantly to install Pixotale app.

Pay to have adds is wrong. Besides, I don't like the app at all.

A browser it is but that is all.
Ban the ads
I will not buy the paid version as I had planned because of the warnings about ads. Advertisers must be nuts to place ads in an environment where they are detested. Even when I must see am ad on a necessary app, I go out of my way to avoid ever buying advertised products here.
AMAZING!
Just what I was looking for. An app that shows the metadata already contained within every photo we take. It does this in a beautifully designed UI. Highly recommended.

My only choices are "Later" or "OK." For heavens sake, give me the choice NOT to use your companion app!

But it is VERY slow even in operations when there's no reason to be. Why is it so slow to just scroll in the photo info/details display?? It's just text!
Different thumbnail view methods would be nice too. VERY slow in that screen, needs a LOT of optimization.
Also crashes on me sometimes in the mapping feature.

Great app
It's so much easier to browse photos with this app. I can now easily find my vacation photos.
Pop-up ads
Ads ruin the experience. You cant even edit an image without a pop-up in your face.

I Expected More From A 3rd Generation Version
This app has some nice features, such as being able to quickly see the file size of your images and how long ago they were created. it's also nice to have the ability to bypass the one-at-a-time limitation Apple imposes when emailing photos.
It's also nice to be able to choose photos by the day they were taken (in Calendar view), and to see them sorted by location in Map view.
But there are also some basic issues that should have been worked out by now. One of them is the fact that when you tap on a photo, it takes a second or two to come into sharp focus. This is disconcerting if you're used to the instantaneous clarity of photos in the camera roll.
It's also disappointing to see that when you tap on a photo already enlarged, there's no bar that appears at the bottom of the screen to allow you to quickly scroll through your entire collection. This is very handy if you have literally hundreds of photos to scroll through.
Instead, this app forces you to tap on a Back Arrow to return to the main collection, and then manually scroll through the large thumbnails. That takes CONSIDERABLY more effort, depending on how many pictures you currently have on your device.
Also, if you enlarge photos and scroll through the large versions for a while, when you return to thumbnail view, the selected thumbnail is not the most recent photo you viewed, but rather it's whatever photo you tapped before you originally went into the larger view.
It would be nice if the thumbnail selected kept pace with wherever you happened to be in the list. Because otherwise, you have to manually scroll up or down to find where you left off. The Camera Roll does this automatically, and this app should, too.
Also, the lack of a sideshow function seems an obvious feature to add in the next update.
It just seems surprising that an app which is well into its third iteration is still lacking these basic functions which Apple users have grown accustomed to and relied upon.
And although this app allows you to show your photos off socially in their companion app called Pixotale, many people, (like myself), resent having to fork over email or Facebook info and to create an "account".
And we don't like having to read yet another Privacy Policy to find out if a company is going to claim complete ownership of our photos or not.
Bottom line: this app has some nice functions and is worth trying. but it still has a ways to go before it is a seamless experience. You may want to try the app "ExPhotos", which is slightly
more elegant, but also needs work.

Has potential
I really like the interface of the app, and several of its features. My biggest complaint is that you cannot delete or edit photos within the app. If they are truly trying to make an app that can replace the default photos app, these two features are absolutely critical. Also, when you do delete a photo via the normal photos app, it still shows up in PhotosPro as a blank tile.
If these things get added/fixed, I'll give it another shot. Right now I can't recommend it.
