Trip films Every trip can now become a short video. Open a trip, tap share, and Photrail builds it: a real map of where you went with your route drawing across it, the places you stayed, the wonder you stood in front of, the walk or hike or ski run you recorded, and your photos. It ends on a card worth screenshotting. The map scenes are real maps — street names, water, terrain — and famous landmarks appear in 3D. Trip films are part of Lifetime; sharing a trip as an image stays free. Your Year in Travel is a film too The finale of the year recap now plays as a video rather than a still card, built from your best photos, your route across the map, and the trips that defined the year. Find any trip from anywhere Trips now appear in Spotlight. Swipe down on your Home Screen and search a country or a city to jump straight into that trip. You can ask Siri for it, or build it into your own Shortcuts. Notifications that behave Notifications no longer interrupt setup — they arrive quietly until you decide to keep them. Tapping one opens the trip, recap or map it's actually about instead of just opening the app. Your profile now shows when notifications are switched off, with a test nudge so you can check they're working. Fixes • Shared videos no longer play upside down and mirrored • Wonder photos now show the wonder, rather than whatever you happened to photograph nearby • Workout routes reach Photrail again — permission for them was being requested in a way that quietly never applied to existing installs • Trip stops are named after the city, not the neighbourhood they sit in • Returning to a city later in the same trip is now its own numbered stop • Country counts now agree everywhere in the recap • Searching for an address shows a spinner while it's working • Several achievements unlocking at once is now one banner, not a queue of them Trip Insights will also now tell you when a workout arrived without its route, and what to do about it.
