I have no idea how to use this app. I can find no instructions.
Great and easy to use
The app is great and easy to use...a bargain for the price. Red plus blue keys show the chord in root position...Yellow keys show inversions.
The two play buttons play the chord in root.

Not as I Remember, but still great.
I just came back to iphone from a 3GS to a 7 plus now. I was looking for this app it looks different now, but still functions the same with added features. For those of you that do not know what the colors mean. The red note is the root note, the blue notes are the other notes within the chord, the lime green notes are alternative ways to play the chord.

Disappointed
The color codes on the keys don't make any sense. It sounds the chord out but doesn't actually show the movement of the keys. With all of the colors, it's hard to tell what keys are actually being sounded. Very counterintuitive.

Great Chord App, but some bugs...

Bug in the chord change playback. It resets to major, even with the presets saved to other qualities.
This is a great chord finding app. I use it all the time to make progression for my pieces. There are some things I wish the app had however. First, the organization of the chords doesn't make much sense to me. For instance the dim7 and half dim7 (named m7-5) are nowhere close to each other. It would be nice if you can move the chord locations manually so each user can have the layout each person prefers. There are also some duplicate chords, like dim and m-5.
It would also be nice if you can create your own chords. One chord I like using is the m-6 or Maj-6, but they are not on the app. A create a custom chord feature would be very helpful.
The last thing I wish to see in this app is a bigger favorites screen. The favorites screen is very helpful. Instead of having a 5x6 screen, something bigger like a 8x12, or 12x20.
This app it's great for composers and musicians. With these fixes, I think it could be even better!

Doesn't work
Shows upside down and same chord is repeated over and over. Sorry I purchased this.

Ich hatte eine App gesucht, um - die für die Nutzung meines AKAI-Chord-Finders zwingend notwendige - Lesebrille weglegen zu können...
... und wurde bitter enttäuscht.
- iPhone-Layout x 2 = Krümelk... auf dem Display.
- Bei Verwendung des SmartCovers (liegend) steht die Anzeige auf dem Kopf
- Bunte Punkte auf den Tasten ohne Erklärung (ich habe zumindest keine gefunden...)
- Umkehrungen werden nicht sinnvoll angezeigt, da Tastatur zu kurz / nicht verschiebbar
Insgesamt ein ziemlicher Pfusch - entweder spielt der Programmierer kein Keyboard oder er beherrscht ohnehin alles...
... bei mir bleibts (leider) beim alten treuen Chord-Finder für die Hosentasche - schade, man hätte was draus machen können...

Pretty good, but
No change of orientation when iPad/pod turned on axis. I always seem to turn it on and it is upside down!
Plays same notes no matter what note you choose within the chord display, sound doesn't change as root note changed.
No inversions displayed, or available as option.
