Makes piano practice fun for the first time ever
I took piano lessons as a kid and hated practicing scales. Now at 32, the Piano LED app makes practice genuinely fun. The lights guide you through songs visually and you can pick whatever music you actually want to play. I practice 30–45 minutes a day now without even realizing it. The app works great on my iPhone and iPad.

Surprisingly high quality — works flawlessly
I was skeptical about an LED piano learning system but decided to try it. The build quality of the strip is solid, and the app is well-designed. It detected my Casio keyboard instantly through USB. Song library is decent and growing, but the real power is MIDI import — any song on the internet becomes learnable. My only wish is more built-in pop songs, but honestly the import feature covers that.

Great for sight-reading and building muscle memory
I'm an intermediate player coming back to piano after a 10-year break. The LED strip helps me rebuild muscle memory fast. I use the app to import classical pieces as MIDI files and practice sections on repeat. The ability to slow down and loop specific parts is exactly what I needed. The scrolling notes feature with the premium subscription is incredible — it's like Guitar Hero but for real piano. I cancelled my lessons and haven't looked back.
