Disappointing
Great when it works but I have had it only two days and it’s crashed twice. When you delete and reinstall, all that you saved has, of course, disappeared. Oh Roland!

Useful to connect to Ipad to use other apps

Incluso habiendo contactado con la tienda y decirme que sería porque había q actualizar el teclado, actualizarlo, probar con varios soportes diferentes, etc. no hay manera de que funcione. La primera vez que se conectó funcionó todo correctamente, y al ir probando la App de repente empezó a dar problemas y dejó de funcionar. Únicamente funciona la Flash cards. Hoy tras un año he probado otra vez y me ha funcionado durante cinco minutos. Tiene muchos problemas y para ser Roland y venderlo como teclado con muchas opciones gracias a la App, no cumple sus funciones.

Will not work with this model of piano. Bought wireless dongle specifically to use but only flash card feature works on beginner level despite app connecting to piano. Disappointed.

Doesn’t work with HP601 in spite of successful connection. Add plz an opportunity to add my own docs and turn pages in it using soft pedal.

Disapointing
I spent over 6 hours of my weekend trying to connect my RP401R to the app. I am very frustrated as the connectivity was one of my primary purchase driver. I can't believe I purchased a brand new digital piano, over 1,150 usd and this thing does not work.
App won't pair with Roland
This app does not work. I've done trouble shooting with the manual and Roland with no success. I've updated the app, my piano, and my iPad but it will not pair. This app was a big selling point for the Roland dealer and was the reason I bought this particular piano as opposed to the previous year model at a deep discount. Very disappointed.

Very poor support
Just bought Roland rd300nx and read documentation says can connect to piano partner via iPad camera connection kit .
Spent hours trawling web to try and find out why even though keyboard says connected and app says connected to Roland digital piano, the only thing I can get to work is the flash cards which work even when not connected. Made sure I had latest firmware for piano (2.04) which I have. But still not working so don't bother at least if you have an rd300nx.

Last updated in 2012 and the app notes acknowledge it now partially doesn't work.
The parts that do work, don't work too well.
There's a new v2 of this app, but the notes say it only works with a very limited range of pianos.
Shoddy effort, really. Maybe Yamaha next time?

Doesn't work
The only aspect of this app that works with the rp400 is the flash card. Connects with ad hoc but not wps.
Doesn't recognise the F-140R
I bought the F-140R for its blue tooth connectivity. iPad connects ok but this app doesn't recognise the piano.

0 stars. Very disappointed the app hasn't been updated to work with Rolands F-140 which has been out for over a 18months. Had i known this, I wouldn't have purchased the piano. Very poor customer service too.
