I got this for my grandson and decided to reminisce about my piano-playing Days and give it a whirl. It was fun and a flood of memories came back. I have the urge to find a piano and stretch the fingers! I didn’t expect these feelings from an iPad app! I’m so glad I got it!
Needs a few more options
My daughter is beginning piano lessons and this would be nice, but finger position is hard to do accurately on the simple songs even at half speed, which is the slowest that this app will let you take the tempo. Also, a few songs that only use a few finger positions before "Bingo" like they offer in all the beginner piano books would be nice.

I've always wanted to play an instrument and now I can
Whenever friends would pick up a guitar or sit behind a piano I'd always be jealous; I've always wanted to play an instrument but have no idea how to read music and didn't have the time to take lessons- and didn't want to spend the money on an instrument then never use it. This app is awesome. It's fun, encouraging (there's thunderous applause whenever you complete a song), and now I can actually sit at a piano and play a couple of songs. It teaches you what fingers to hit which keys with, and you learn good songs. I've had a ton of fun with this app and it's awesome that it's actually teaching me how the play the piano.

This is by far the best piano app out on the market. My daughter loves to play and has really made great advancement on the keyboard because of this app.

works so easily. My 18 month old granddaughter can pick a tune and listen. I enjoy the different speeds and different genres. Have never had a problem with it not working which Is a BIG plus.

This is a very basic but perfectly adequate tool for budding musicians. The gentle encouragement advice and quotes help to realize playing an instrument takes time patience and lots of practice. Great stuff!

Love this app
I downloaded this for my nephew. He could follow along with the easiest songs at the slower speeds. After a couple of years of "playing", he is now taking piano lessons. I had none of the problems listed by others about sound, keys sticking, etc. Only recommendation is for some more children's songs and holiday songs. Thanks for creating.

Great app!
This is a fun app to play classic songs. It gives you the choice to play at 1/2 speed, 3/4 speed and full speed which is nice if you're new to musical intrusments!

Like this app it's fun to play and easy wish it played full s.ongs and they keys were easier to use with my hands but that's almost impossible on the iPad need my own real piano again! Still dun to play like it a lot!!
Review of Piano App
I love this app I got it for my granddaughter when she just a few months old. She had birth trauma form cord and they encouraged us to stimulate her in whatever way possible with reading music etc. she is 1 yrs old now and I have watched her go Forman infant listening and watching me play to a baby who now points at the colors to play. She loves praise with her physical therapy etc so the clapping at the end is one of her favorite parts. Thank you for a wonderful and useful app for all ages. Lots of fun.

very glitchy and annoying HORRIBLE songs
I only bought because it was supposed to come with 100 free songs for thanksgiving bonus...no bonus songs. I paid $2 for this and it doesn't work, the colored keys get stuck or an extra note gets added, it's so awful. Also there is an annoying farty sound everytime you tap a menu button. Very stupid app.

This could be really good.....
Except that I can't play in auto mode. I have tried everything I could think of, but no go. I would like to play the songs to see what the arrangement is like, then I will be more able to play along better.
For all ages
I have had this on my iPad for about a year and my grandchildren have enjoyed it. I saw my nearly three-year-old grandson playing with the app today and he was having a great time. It is educational as well as entertaining. I am a piano teacher so anything I find that can be used to get any child interested in the piano is a worthy investment. Thanks for this great addition to my collection!

Fun and educational!
This app is great for anyone who's interested in learning the piano, or just wants to work on their rhythm. There's a wide variety of songs to choose from, so you're bound to hear a lot of familiar pieces. Great job!
Piano app
I absolutely love this app, fun and easy was to learn to play piano..unfortunately I only have an iPhone and think an iPad is better suited. My only complaint is after an upgrade the icon turned into a white box, no colors or piano keys.. Maybe that can be fixed? Thanks for your help.
Already Hooked!
My 5 year old is already loving this app. After playing for a few minutes, he is trying to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on his keyboard and doing very well. True, it does not teach how to read music sheets. But it is a great introduction for kids to familiarize themselves with keystrokes.
