About
PianoAnyway: you know the tune, now get the left hand.
Can you play a melody with your right hand, but never know which chords go underneath? Play it in on the keys, type it in 123 or Do-Re-Mi, or try a built-in demo song. PianoAnyway gives you one left-hand chord card per bar, with blue keys showing exactly where your hand goes.
The chords are a suggestion, not a rule: tap “or” on any card to hear another choice. Songs that start before beat 1 (like Happy Birthday) and 3-beat songs are handled for you.
Already have a chord chart? Paste C G Am F, or snap a photo of a chart with chord letters above the words, and play it right away.
Try everything free for 7 days. No credit card. No subscription. Unlock once and it's yours.
Singer changes key? Transpose freely. Prefer numbers or solfège? Show 123, Do-Re-Mi or ABC, with a second label underneath. Not sure what you're holding? “What am I playing?” names the chord. Play on screen or connect a MIDI keyboard.
For kids learning their first chords, adults finally answering “Can you play something?”, songwriters chasing a spark, or the one handed the song at church, at home, or in class: this is for you.
A practice and accompaniment tool, not a course and not a licensed song library.
