My favorite modeling app
I don’t have room for a grand piano or harpsichord— but I can have several, on my phone! Amazing. Excellent sound (minus the haptics of a real piano or harpsichord). Plus you get randomization and the ability to create instrumental sounds that would cost a fortune to build (even for just one). This is one fine piece of software and, yeah, it is pricey. But I don’t regret a single penny spent. Kudos, Midartt!

Excellent piano app
Pianoteq is a very serious piano app and is a game changer. Models instead of samples ensures smaller app size. Same app works on desktop, iPhone, & iPad.
I used their Steingraeber and Bosendorfer models in live performances every week. No issues with the standalone app or the plugin to DAWs or Host apps on all platforms.
The interface is simple, sounds fantastic, velocity curve is customizable to your midi controller. Midi recorder & chord naming features are great bonuses.
The Modarrt Team are excellent developers and listen to & interact with their customer base. It has been worth the investment.

First of all, Wow. This is in a league of its own. It allows for every aspect of the piano sound to be changed, softened, brightened, muted, etc. I would say this is for people who are very particular on feel and sound (even minuscule aspects). Great sound banks. I would actually like a “noise” generator to emulate white noise behind a recorded signal. I kind of like that raw sound sometimes.

Bei meinem Kawai MP7 SE bekomme ich keinen über die gesamte Tastatur vernünftigen Klang hin. Insbesondere in höheren Lagen klingt es teilweise wie ein E-Piano

Nutze Pianoteq schon eine Weile auf dem Mac und nun auch auf dem iPad und iPhone. Auf dem iPad ist es nahezu perfekt. Auf dem iPhone finde ich die Bedienung zu klein und fummelig

En tant que pianiste, j'ai testé énormément de VST. Je suis l'évolution de Pianoteq depuis la version 2, mais je n'avais jamais été totalement convaincu par le rendu sonore jusqu'à cette version 9. L'arrivée des pianos « Sombres » change tout, et en plus avec le Shigaru en prime. Je retrouve la vraie identité caractéristique du Shigeru Kawai, surtout avec ce preset Sombre. Je joue sur un Kawai CS11 (parce que j’aime beaucoup le toucher) et je suis honnêtement époustouflé par la qualité du rendu, même sans avoir a bidouiller les réglages de partout. J’utilisais jusqu'ici Noire, Imperfect Samples ou Keyscape pour mes lives et compos, et je ne touche plus qu'à Pianoteq maintenant. Il répond à 100 % de ce que je recherche.

Pianoteq rules!
This is my favorite virtual piano. It feels and sounds great. I particularly enjoy the ability to detune it slightly, because just about every piano I play professionally is at least a tiny bit out of tune. I find myself going to the Bechstein most of the time,but having such wonderful other options is “an embarrassment of riches”. The tine and reed pianos are also a joy to play and tweak, and it’s great fun having the Hohner instruments to enjoy; other than the clavinet these are all new to me. I’m a loyal fan and can’t imagine how much better Pianoteq will get. Highly recommended!

Incroyable d’avoir une telle qualité dans une app qui pèse si peu de Mo. Le fait qu’elle soit disponible à la fois en version desktop et mobile iOS sans avoir à repasser à la caisse a été décisif dans mon achat. J’espère qu’une version iOS d’Organteq viendra aussi.
