Why does this need mic access to run?!

Just loaded and started and understandably asked for access to camera, which I gave. This strangely asks for access to mic, which I denied. On trying to use for colour slides says it doesn’t have access to camera, which on checking I confirmed it does. Will only run if it also has access to mic. WHY? Seems very dodgy to me.

Horrible App

Very bad quality scanner. Other scanner apps are much much better. Don’t waste your time.

Not working with iPhone X

Why not? The App loads and then says it won’t work with this camera.

Microphone

Deny microphone access and app won’t work

Awful

Very buggy, awful photo results

Not support for iPhone 13

The app won’t work with my iPhone 13, there is no way to focus the negatives

Freezing

App keeps freezing! Terrible

Poor quality

Worthless - very bad quality of pictures

Hacker/spying application

I can’t tell you whether or not this application is any good because it won’t work unless I allow it access to my microphones, which basically means it wants to be able to spy on me. Are used to work in computer security and there’s no way in heck I am loading this sucker onto my phone. There are other applications to do the same job and don’t require that

App works fairly well

App works fairly well compared to the free Kodak version (which is very similar in interface). The first time the camera focuses is about the best the image will get with clarity (not color), however some additional tuning you will get a decent image. This app REQUIRES access to the microphone for some reason. It will not work without that access and unsure why it even needs it. Otherwise it works pretty good for a free app to accompany the film negative rig. It suits my needs and has saved me from having to find a film developer. 👍🏾👍🏾

Slide picscanner

Looks great. But it will not open my iPhone 11 camera revering it useless.

Ridiculous app requiring microphone on

This app is ridiculous. I’m taking pictures of slides not making a video! I’m not activating the microphone for SLIDES, so now the app won’t work I’m now going to delete the app and just use the scanner without it.

Disappointed

Pics I took using the regular camera app were superior and the app wouldn’t work without access to my microphone (the error was simply, “Camera not allowed!”). If I’m just taking photos of slides and/or negatives, why does this app HAVE to have access to my microphone, too? Sketchy and doesn’t perform well. Meh.

Not great!

Limited functionality and equivalent to the Kodak app......maybe even the same app!

Works But Poor Quality Picturea

The app does a descent job with taking pictures of the negatives but the size of the pictures is too small, less that 150kb using iPhone 11 Pro. Increase the resolution of the pictures and it would make the app and scanner useful
