Excellent scanner app!
We have been using this app for years to track parts and inventory in our fabrication shop. Updating our web app from the floor has never been easier. Customer support is also amazing! I reported a bug and it was fixed within a couple days.

Problem iPhone13 Pro
Used this program for stock count and works great. However with iPhone13 Pro there is a camera focus problem. Somehow it changes to different lense and is out of focus all the time and unable to read barcode. Since iOS 15.1. you can Switch Off Auto Macro in Camera settings and it improves the focus issue, nevertheless autofocus problem remains when scanning smaller objects which do not fill the entire camera frame. Would be great if the developer could fix this, because the app is great.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to report this. We are looking into it. However we cannot reproduce the problem so far and have not received any other report. Could you please check that it is not a problem with your device's autofocus? Also, what is the type and size of barcodes you are scanning?
Nice App
We use it with our own warehouse management web app. It works fine. It would be perfect, when it can read nfc tags, too.

Perfect for delivery tracking apps
Over the years I've used this app for two different projects. Clients love that I can bang out mobile scanning web apps without the time and cost of cross-platform native mobile app development. Pic2Shop pro makes me look like a hero.
The GPS tagging is great. I use it to validate delivery scans against addresses to minimize mistakes.
Only thing is I can't figure out how to enable GPS from custom URLs, but using the built-in scan button in app works fine.

Excellent for scanning applications
While building a web-based app that required scanning barcodes to log inventory and lookup I thought from the description I could make this app work. Using the demo I was able to adapt it even more easily by using the integrated browser. For anyone looking you can scan right into your existing form which is ideal (you don't have to use the callback URL but can instead populate your data field with JavaScript.
The only thing I've found missing so far is the ability to rotate in the integrated browser is not there, so your web app must be built well for portrait which is a tight squeeze for some data sheets.
All in all an excellent, well thought out application that enabled me to build a very cool web based tool.

This app is a web developers dream. The sky is the limit with this app. Great job!
Great for web apps!
I needed a way to scan in UPS tracking numbers into a web app. This did exactly what I wanted. From the web app, I click a URL which launches the scanner and then automatically uploads the tracking number into my web app via the web app API. Click, scan, and done.
Brilliant used on custom webApp, very low profile
We were looking for extending a stock related webApp away from ipads and people typing things in to see if we could look up a SKU from a barcode. Was a little worried that we would have to start writing native helper apps etc, found this, 30 mins later its doing the exact job without getting in the way. Docs could be a little clearer, but I just put a button on the site, it does a href call which auto opens the app (no branding, nothing for user to do), the app auto detects, focuses and scans the code without the user doing anything, and then the app returns you to safari or chrome into your calling app and passes the code and format for you to do what you want with....

Brilliant little app, does exactly what it says. Working brilliantly scanning a stock control system. Scan on startup would be a bonus!

What a marvelous idea and helpful tool.
I'm starting off a small business that helps other small businesses get on the web. This little app is helping me in a HUGE way! With this app my clients, nor I need to buy expensive tools to help them build up an inventory system. Now they can do it over the air with their iPod touch (newest generation of course) or iPhones. I'm currently developing the web UI that will compliment this great app! Only thing I have to say is those back and forth buttons should be optional! Thank you Vision Smarts!
