About

Textbook diagrams, described aloud and ready to explore. PicExplainer is designed for blind and low-vision students. Photograph a textbook diagram, chart, graph, map, or figure and hear an AI-generated spoken explanation. Then ask questions in plain language: - "Which chamber does blood enter first?" - "What does the arrow on the left point to?" - "Read me the values on this chart." BUILT VOICEOVER-FIRST Use eyes-free camera guidance, accessible controls, and your own VoiceOver voice when VoiceOver is on. 141 FREE, OFFLINE DIAGRAMS Explore 141 bundled curriculum diagrams across Biology, Human body, Chemistry, Physics, Earth & space, Maths, Geography, and Everyday topics. They are free and work offline. EXPLORE BY TOUCH Drag a finger across a diagram to hear each part announced with haptic boundaries. Hear supported charts as audio graphs, follow a guided part-by-part walk, test yourself by ear and touch, or export a tactile and braille-ready sheet. HONEST BY DESIGN PicExplainer reports confidence and is instructed to flag labels or details it cannot read clearly. AI can still make mistakes, so check important details with a teacher or textbook. YOUR DIAGRAM LIBRARY Successful analyses you save live in the app on your device and remain readable without a subscription while they remain on that device. Submitted figures, OCR text, questions, and recent conversation context are processed off-device to create analyses and answers. PRIVACY IN THE CLASSROOM PicExplainer does not ask for a name, email address, or student record. Purchase history, submitted content, a pseudonymous device identifier, and product-interaction counters are linked for App Functionality such as entitlements, free scans, and fair-use limits. PicExplainer does not use them for cross-app tracking. PRICING Try up to two successful live scans per pseudonymous device identity; an unclear analysis does not consume the allowance. All 141 bundled diagrams remain free and offline. PicExplainer Pro enables live scanning and questions subject to fair-use and service-capacity limits. Apple shows the exact local price, renewal terms, and any introductory offer you are eligible for before confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. What's New in PicExplainer

1.5.0

August 10, 2026

Test Yourself, the guided walk and Feel mode now always speak, even when "Speak results automatically" is turned off — a quiz question is never silent again. The subscription screen now tells you when plans are still loading instead of showing an error, and offers a retry if they cannot load. More accurate VoiceOver wording on the Home scan button, the Review card, and the teacher progress list. School activation codes have been retired. PicExplainer Pro is available as an in-app subscription through the App Store.
