About

Stop arguing. Start swiping. PickIt is the quickest way for a group to decide what to watch or where to eat, without the thirty-message group chat. One person starts a room and shares a 4-digit code. Everyone swipes on the same cards at the same time, and PickIt shows you what the group agreed on. No accounts. No sign-ups. No ads. Just a nickname and an emoji. HOW IT WORKS 1. One person taps Run the room and gets a 4-digit code. 2. Friends tap Crash a room and type in the code. Up to 8 people per room. 3. The host picks what you're deciding: movies in cinemas, movies and TV to stream, or food. 4. Pick your filters: genres, streaming services, cuisines or distance. 5. Everyone swipes right on what they'd be happy with and left on what they wouldn't. 6. When everyone's done, you see the winner: a perfect match, or what the majority picked. THREE WAYS TO DECIDE Movies in cinemas: what's showing now, filtered by genre. Tap a film to look up showtimes. Movies and TV to stream: filtered by genre and by the services your group actually has. Food and restaurants: real places near the host, with real photos, or just swipe on cuisines. When everyone in the room has an iPhone, restaurant rooms use Apple Maps. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Live, together. When a friend swipes, everyone's screen knows. No refreshing, no "did you vote yet?" It knows when you agree. A unanimous pick gets confetti, and a clear majority wins too. Tie-breaks handled. Tied at the top? A quick revote settles it. Still stuck? Let fate pick. Built for patchy signal. If someone drops out, they rejoin as themselves with their votes intact. The host is in charge. Remove someone from the room, or end it for everyone. PRIVACY BY DESIGN No account, no email, no phone number, no contacts. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Rooms delete themselves at most 24 hours after someone last joined. Ending a room deletes it straight away. Location is optional and only asked of the host in restaurant rooms. It's used to find nearby places and never saved. Read the full privacy policy at pickit-app.pages.dev/privacy. MADE BY ONE PERSON PickIt is made by an independent developer. If something breaks, shake your phone to send feedback, or get in touch through the support page. A real person reads every message.
