My wife is an essential worker and when I had to step in to work her job as well we needed dining options. Phil’s meals are healthy flavorful and the perfect thing to come home to. I have my favorites and I will be supporting the local business for a long time.

Take-out can be expensive, a pain to get, rife with unnecessary waste, and inconsistent. Preparing food at home can be a slog, tough to get done in time, and uninteresting.
PickMeUp Seattle is the PERFECT way to get the best of both worlds.
I have really come to rely on the ease of getting dinner dropped off late afternoon, not needing to decide on what to eat when I am already hangry, knowing that I am supporting a local business, knowing what I will be paying, and also the lack of waste.
”Phil-food” as we have come to call it is excellent, healthy, and such a brilliant idea. It has been such a welcome treat after stressful days filled with uncertainty.
And the times we get to have a Phil sighting upon drop-off are such a joy.

Life Changing
To be completely honest, I really don’t know what I would do without Pick Me Up Seattle. The pandemic put our family in a panic of “Oh no, what are we going to eat?” Luckily we found this adorable family owned, local and small business that has single handedly fed us throughout the last 6 months!
The food is incredible (something I could/would never cook for myself), it is healthy and the portions are huge. As a vegetarian the new veg option has allowed me to get a vegetarian meal while my partner can indulge in the meat! The meat even looked so good, I definitely dug into the steak. Our all time favorite meal is Shepard’s Pie!
We order at least two meals a week, and many weeks we order all 5 days! The delivery service has been incredible. We would have honestly ordered even if we have to go pick up.
If you are in the Seattle area and NOT getting Pick Me Up, I really don’t know what you’re doing. You’re missing out. I didn’t even get to mention how reasonably prices these meals are!

What an incredible business plan! And YUM!
The usual day begins at 4:50, work at 6:30, leave at 4:30 to get my sweet (tired, whiny, dirty) kids at daycare by 5:30. Home at 6:00 and probably have not prepped at all for feeding these people of mine... so chicken nuggets and guilt.
But! Today was different! Tonight at daycare I picked up a delicious meal that we ordered last night from the Pick Me Up app! Got home, played some b-ball with kiddos and broke some (still in the living room) xmas ornaments, microwaved, pulled out my oldest’s first loose tooth, and then ate some impressively delicious dinner. No dinner fuss tonight. We are full, we are happy, we ate veggies, and we spent some quality time together. Tonight goes down in the books as a rare win. We ordered again for tomorrow and I’m not sorry about it!
Absolutely brilliant business plan, flawlessly executed. And the food - thumbs up from all four of my picky peeps. So delish!
