About

Pickle Spots shows you where to play pickleball and who's already there. Open the app to see the pickleball courts near you, how busy each one is right now, and who's playing. Skip driving to a packed court, or to an empty one when you wanted a game. FIND COURTS NEAR YOU • See nearby courts on a list or a map, with the nearest one at the top • Each court shows how busy it is: Empty, Quiet, Active, Busy or Packed • See who's checked in and their skill ratings before you go • Check the local weather before you head out AUTOMATIC CHECK-IN • Walk onto the court and Pickle Spots checks you in. You don't have to tap anything. • You're checked out automatically when you leave • Check in by hand anytime you're at the court • Checked in by mistake? Undo it from the notification • Turn on "Always" location to check in even when the app is closed PLAN A VISIT • Let other players know when you'll be at a court, up to a week ahead • See who's coming up at each court before you go • When you arrive for a planned visit, you're checked in right away FIND TEAMMATES • Turn on "Need a Teammate" to show up for players within about 25 miles • Add teammates by player ID, a share link or a QR code • Message your teammates in the app • Get notified when a teammate checks in at a court • Share your phone or email with a teammate only when you choose to TRACK YOUR GAME • See your time on court over the last 7 days, the last 30 days and all time • See which courts you play most and every visit from the past year • Add your skill rating and a short note to your profile YOUR PRIVACY Other players see only your first name, last initial, photo, rating and note. Your email and phone stay private unless you share them with a teammate. "Need a Teammate" uses your approximate area, never your exact location. Court locations come from OpenStreetMap, so coverage depends on your area. If a court is missing or wrong, you can report it in the app.

-Report a wrong court count. You can now report someone's headcount if it looks wrong. -On a court's page, tap "Wrong?" next to the "X players reported" line. If more than one person reported a count, you pick which one is wrong. -In the Feed, long-press someone else's headcount to report it. VoiceOver users get a "Report wrong count" action. -The report screen has its own "Report Count" layout. It shows the count, the court and when it was reported, and has an optional "How many were actually playing?" note. Blocking the person is off by default for these reports. -Admins see these reports in the queue with how many people were checked in at the time and what others reported within an hour. They can remove the bad count, which takes it out of the court's total and the feed. -Suspended players can no longer report headcounts. -Distance filter on Home. Court Filters now has a slider for 1–40 miles (default 5). Home's list and its "within X mi" text follow your choice, and favorites still show however far away they are. -Courts are now searched up to 40 miles away; the app and server used to stop at about 25 miles (40 km). -A Reset button appears when any filter is changed, and the filter icon is filled in when a filter is active. -The default court type is now Public instead of All. Bug fixes -Auto check-in fix. Auto check-in could fail to start while you were standing on a court. -The app used to ignore GPS readings less accurate than 75 m, which is common, especially indoors. It now accepts readings up to 150 m. The 5-minute countdown still stops it from checking you in at courts you're only passing. -When a reading is too rough, the app now asks for a new one every 15 seconds while it's open. Before, it waited for you to move, so standing still meant it never checked you in. -Links that open the app (a shared profile or court) now open over the tabs, so Back takes you to Home instead of leaving you stuck. Other changes -The More screen is split into clearer groups, and Weather was removed from that list.
