Missing numerous public courts in my area.
Good but Data and Response isn’t Great
I recently got the pickleball bug and wanted to find an app to help me find places to play near me.
I found Pickleball+, and I love the modern UI and navigation straight to Apple Maps. But unfortunately, the information was out of date since it’s user driven. Locations were easy to add, but people would try include their own houses, and I asked to have them removed several times without response. There are also very few people leaving reviews and moderating the alp.
I’ve started to use Places2Play since it has more up to date information and more community feedback and ratings. The UI is awful and super outdated, but it gets the job done.
I wish the two platforms would merge, but alas, I hope this app grows and becomes better. I will come back if the community grows and shows more responsive moderators.

Doesn’t show courts nearby
Not very accurate at all. Did not show several popular courts in my area.
Good concept but needs better screening
The app is a great concept. Love how it works, but there’s issues with people setting houses or whatever as the address of the park/court.
For instance someone has ******** park listed as some random person’s residential home address.
There needs to be some sort of checks/balances to prevent this. There’s more than a few instances of this around me.

Best sports app there is
I downloaded this because I just started pickle ball, but I don’t know if I had any pickle ball courts near me. I heard from a friend that this app tells you exactly where the courts are, so I got it. It works like a charm. I wish that every sport had this.
A real mistake
Can’t log in ; go through all registration ?’s answer ? At end ; comes back didnt answer 2 ?’s ; 3x why will not allow myself individual to register therefore can not log in ; complaint someone has caused a or placed a virus on this I phone app; will turn in to apple soon; problem has existed since my iPhone was stolen at ymca at glenwood facility; no one can get my name to register therefore something has precludes my ability to be a register member please send your assistance in this matter

Coming through in the clutch
I needed more pickleball in my life. This app came through when I needed pickleball the most.
Not what it once was.
They screwed up what used to be the best free open play site in the state. I understand the noise situation for the homeowners. There is no open play, a $150 charge for out of town residents, and a reservation. Private game system. What a shame.

Lacks structure
This app lacks structure - the court descriptions need structure like a checklist. How many courts? Quality of courts? Level(s) of play? How is play organized? Reliable contact info?

Slow loading app
Opens with screen frozen and takes awhile to start working, then it seems ok. Haven’t used it much yet do can’t comment on it.

Updates too far behind
This is a good featured app that gives info on where to play. But it’s not as up to date with the latest courts as USAPA Places2Play app. Case in point.... The new Black Diamond Pickleball Complex in Marion, IL has been active for only one month, and it’s not on this app, but is on the USAPA Places2Play app.

New to the app but it’s difficult to locate all the places when the icons are layered the way they are.
Really Good App
This is a really great app which does a good job of telling you where pickle ball courts are around… I wish it had a phone number or email address of some main person you can contact if you had additional questions
