About
Three puzzles a day — a crossword, a word game and a sudoku — built on your phone the moment you open it.
Nothing is downloaded. There is no server to be up, no account to make, and no waiting for content. Every player gets the same three puzzles each day, generated from the same date, so you can argue about today's crossword with someone on the other side of the world.
CROSSWORD
Five sizes, from a 5×5 Bitsy you finish standing at the kettle to a full 15×15 Maxi. Real grids: symmetric, connected, no two-letter entries.
WORDFORM
Guess the word, four to eleven letters. Longer words give you fewer guesses. Tiles show what's right and what's merely present, and a shared result gives away the shape of your solve and never the answer.
SUDOKU
Easy, Medium, Hard, Master, Evil. The tiers are set by the logic a solve actually demands rather than by counting clues, so Evil earns its name — it will ask you for chains, not for patience. Notes, peer highlighting, and mistakes you can switch on or off.
BEYOND TODAY
• Endless mode in all three games, for when one a day isn't enough
• A mosaic of your last thirty days, one square per day, solid when all three are done
• Streaks per game, milestones at 3, 7, 14, 30, 100 and 365 days
• Stats that show where you're quick and where you stall
• Optional reminders, on a schedule you set, that stay quiet on days you've already played
IT WORKS ANYWHERE
Every puzzle is generated on the device from a dictionary that ships inside the app. On a plane, in a tunnel, or with airplane mode on, all three games work exactly as they do at home. Ads are the only part of Pico that ever touches the network — turn it off and they simply stop appearing.
BUILT TO BE READABLE
High-contrast tiles for anyone who can't separate green from amber, larger grid text, Dynamic Type through the interface, and full VoiceOver labelling.
Free, ad-supported, and honest about it. Your scores, streaks and settings stay on your device.
