Good app, could be made EVEN BETTER

The app has a nice aesthetic and you can tell that it was well thought out. For being an independent party’s first app it’s great. However, the app lacks a privacy policy which is important since this was designed to be a social media app and there’s no info or disclaimers about where our emails will be distributed to, where our pictures will be stored, who will have access to whatever we put on here, etc. There isn’t really a tutorial to give you a tour of the app like “if you press here in the search tab, you will see challenges. If you press here, you can upload photos from your current location to show your friends the good times you’re having!” Etc. While on the topic of friends, there is no tab for friends or followers which is confusing for a social media app where the function is to be social. The lack of a visible social function kind of makes this app feel like a glorified, overly complicated photo album where you geotag pictures you take at your current location to store and have sorted by where it was taken.

I’m sure I will enjoy the app when these issues are recognized and corrected, but for now it just feels like it’s lacking. I still respect all the hard work and time it took. I understand constructing an app such as this requires a lot of time and effort. But I feel that the whole concept needs to be taken further so it holds up well in comparison to other photo apps that are available. Hope this constructive criticism is helpful. I don’t mean it to be down putting in any way, I’m just approaching this from a realistic and professional view.
