Yes? Then PicTrax is for you. I have been using PicTrax for a while and do enjoy sharing some of my favourite places while discovering new ones for the bucket list. Recent updates to the app have really improved the way it works and I recommend it to all serious travellers looking that ultimate new destination.

You have to know what your looking for and get lucky
The app makes it appear as though you can just zoom into a map and see all the locations of your interest. My interest is an ancient archaeological sites. But you can’t find these without knowing the tag name that the person save the picture tagged them on if they’ve even been tagged…. Not a friendly app at all.

Hi Nate, PicTrax is a platform that was built to help people share locations. Every new platform has to start somewhere, and content is built over time. It's up to users like yourself to share content, and sites of interest. PicTrax will grow to have more content as people contribute to it. Your comment about not being able to find content without knowing the tag name is incorrect. You can search for location and topic, and filter the results by 'near me (you)', 'most popular' etc. If you'd like to use the app with a more open mind - to help others find amazing destinations, we'd be thrilled to welcome you back.
Waste of $6 - hardly any pics
I took a risk with this, thinking it would be a cool way to find interesting places. Unfortunately, there’s minimal users and only 2-3 pics are major city locations. The app is clunky, unintuitive and hard to navigate.

I use this when looking for new places to go exploring. Such a great way to see what is there. I love looking at the suggested pics as well. So many incredibly beautiful places to explore. East to upload where you have explored at the end of the day. Great work to the developers.
Great sharing travel app
PicTrax has completely changed the way I explore and share my travel experiences. I can pin and revisit my favourite destinations, and save other people's travel discoveries. The tap-to-go navigation is a game-changer. It's literally so easy to share travel discoveries and get travel inspiration with PicTrax.
