Why waste the user’s time?
If you are going to charge for the app, why not state that on the install page from the App Store?
It’s time consuming and it only fosters distrust as soon as I see subscription options. If you stated that before installing, you might sell subscriptions after allowing the user to try, even with limited functionality, some of the features of your app.
Once again, greed takes over.
