I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist and I am a big fan of all of the Hamaguchi apps. This app is no exception. It is well designed and I did not experience any technical issues while using it. My young patients enjoy using the app and find it engaging. I love the uncluttered design! It is effective without being overwhelming/distracting.

One tiny request
I like app and it fits the specific needs of a few of my students. My only request would be to make it possible to manually move onto the picture choices after the sentence is given instead of automatically moving to the three choices. I would like to have the option to have my student repeat the sentence before moving on to finding the corresponding picture. Like a simple button that says "next" or just an arrow. You follow?? Or even making your own sentences so you can tailor the app even more specific to the student.

Not great
Speech therapist recommended this. My 3 year old seems to like it and it is good practice for him. But there are problems.
Interface exemplifies buggy, lazy coding.
Non-universal app. (You'd need to buy it separately again for iPhone.)
Pretty limited in content. This is the lite version and should have been a freebie.
Ugly, uninspired UI.
I'd be willing to pay well for a polished version of this.

Child with autism loves all these games.
This has been a very good thing for my child. I suggest anyone trying to teach a child with autism to try this app.
Cute app!
I like this app for working with my son who needs augmentative communication. It really helps him associate spoken word with written words and pictures.
Great App
I love that the app supports visual subject while being said as well. Really helps children with special needs figure it out. Pleasant pictures and fun subjects for the kids. A+
Great for kids with auditory issues
My daughter has auditory processing issues and this app does a great job of cueing with pictures to challenge her auditory skills. A great learning tool for a child with any kind of delay!
A great LITE app
This is a great app, especially for being lite. It has subject + verb +object sentences and really makes the student listen. Based on this version, I will surely buy the full app.
Picture the Sentence Lite
This is a great app for kids who are working on understanding and constructing sentences. Also good for pronouns, too! My only complaint is that the pictures don't exactly match from the instruction to when the kids has to choose from the pictures on the bottom. Overall, I think it's a great app!

Great
Another really great lite app. I like the different visuals available and think that this app can be very useful for many people. I recommend this and the full version.
Another good one!
Another good one from the developer. I plan to upgrade to full version. Can use this with varied level of students abilities.
Great app for sentence building!
This app is excellent for helping children who need to learn how to put sentences together. I've learned that many kids with diagnoses, such as Autism, think in pictures. This will be a great tool for me to use with students who need help constructing sentences. The visual support will help students construct sentences with positive feedback. I like the customizations for each child (levels, repetitions, characters, etc. Also, the parent/therapist/teacher can save up to 3 student's data in this lite version. Overall, I think it's a very useful app!

Wonderful Lite version of a GREAT App!
This educational game provides a fun and educational way for children to strengthen their auditory processing skills. The user is asked to do exactly what the title of the app says, to picture a sentence. The game provides a phrase and after an allotted amount of wait time, the user picks the appropriate picture that matches the previous phrase. Definitely a great App!

great app
this app is great! very good for visual learner s and its great how it connects visual and auditory together. what a great app!
Wonderful
I liked this app so much I went ahead and got the full version. It starts off giving you the sentence, verbally and with pictures if you choose and then it gives a small break and then you have to pick the picture of the sentence that was given a moment ago. Awesome app!

Another fine app by this developer. Very broad in student learning options. There is a lot crammed in to this, but the full version would be even better in a classroom setting with a number of users.

Great app!
This app shows pictures with words and then the child has to choose a picture that summarizes what they just heard. Also has fun little pick a door to find the animal game that my daughter loves! The only thing I would change is if once the sentence is done it would automatically move on to the next sentence.

pictures!
As a teacher of general and special ed students, I see this app as a wonderful tool. Phrases are presented in small chunks with visual support! I can see this helping a lot of kids!
Excellent App!
I love how this app pictures each part of the sentence for the user. It helps them use their mind to think about what they are hearing. Then they have to recall this and process it in order to "frame" the meaning of the sentence. This is really an excellent app for auditory processing & thinking skills.

Nice app!
Picture the Sentence HD Lite is a great buy for the money! In this lite version you can track data for up to 3 users and customize many settings to meet your needs. I especially like how you can set the difficulty level, adjust the wait time and select the type visual cues (2 kinds to choose from - color drawings or stick figures, or none at all). Being able to customize when the "Door Game" reward activity appears is a nice touch too! Thanks for a great app!
