Pikant is an independent app that I build and maintain myself, and I’m continuously working on improving stability, performance, and overall experience. While many users have positive experiences, that doesn’t change the fact that issues can happen, and there’s still room to improve. Hi, Thanks for sharing your feedback. You mentioned a notification “bug” in a previous support email, so we want to clarify how notifications work on iOS. Notifications can only be delivered if they are explicitly enabled on the receiving device. If notifications are disabled, iOS does not provide a notification token to the app, which makes sending notifications technically impossible even though the app itself is functioning correctly. Additionally, iOS features such as Focus modes (including Do Not Disturb or Sleep), notification permissions being denied during setup, or system-level notification settings can block notifications for all apps or specific apps, which can make it appear as if notifications are not working. In these cases, enabling notifications in iOS Settings → Notifications → Pikant and ensuring no Focus mode is blocking alerts usually resolves the issue. That said, if the app truly did not work 99% of the time, it is unclear how you were able to successfully complete three challenges, which require active app usage and interaction. We sincerely apologize for the frustration this caused and for the experience not meeting your expectations. We are actively working to improve both the app’s design and how these system limitations are communicated more clearly inside the app. Regarding pricing, the subscription is shared between two partners under the same couple account, so both people receive full access together.
