About
Your flight, as live telemetry.
PikFly reads raw data from your phone's GPS receiver and turns it into a clear, instrument-style display: where you are, how high, how fast and where you're heading. Everything works in airplane mode. No Wi-Fi, no roaming, no account.
WHAT YOU SEE
• Below you: city, region and country, or the name of the sea or ocean you're crossing
• Altitude, ground speed and track, with a climb/descent indicator and a cockpit-style heading tape
• Nearby airports: distance, direction relative to the aircraft and time to reach them when you're heading their way
• Local time below you, compared with your phone's clock, so you know when you've crossed a time zone
• Sunrise and sunset corrected for cruising altitude (from 11 km up, the sun sets later than on the ground)
• Moon phase and position
• Offline world map with borders, seas, cities, airports and your track
BUILT FOR THE AIR
• 100% offline: the map, 9,500 airports and 34,000 cities are built into the app
• Your location never leaves your device. No tracking, no ads, no sign-up
• Metric, aviation (ft, kt, nm) or imperial units
• Keeps the screen on while you follow your flight
• Demo flight mode to try it out on the ground
• English and Polish
TELEMETRY BY PiK SYSTEMS
PikFly is made by PiK Systems. Telemetry is what we do: collecting data from sensors and turning it into information people can read at a glance. PikFly is a small, free showcase of that idea. The phone in your pocket is the sensor, and the sky is the test bench.
TIPS
Sit by the window and keep the phone close to the glass. The first GPS fix in airplane mode can take 1 to 5 minutes.
PikFly is not a navigation instrument.
