Spread your pills out, take one photo, and the app counts them. ■ How it counts A model trained to put a dot at the centre of every pill runs entirely on your device. It gives a value for every pixel rather than dividing the frame into cells and guessing what sits in each one, so pills that touch each other are still counted separately. It handles photos with more than a hundred pills packed close together. ■ What you see • One dot per pill counted — you can see at a glance what was counted and what was missed • The total, shown large over the photo • Fix it by hand — tap a pill to remove it, tap an empty spot to add one • Save and share — the picture with the dots and the total can be saved to your album or sent ■ Getting a good photo • Spread the pills so they do not overlap. Stacked pills cannot be counted, by the app or by you • Hold the phone close enough to fill the square on screen • The more the pills differ from the surface in colour, the better (dark surface for white pills) ■ Your photo does not leave the device There is no server. The photo and all of the counting happen on this device and nothing is sent anywhere. The result picture goes into your album only when you press save. ■ What this app does not do • It does not identify what the medicine is. It only counts • It does not manage doses or send reminders • It says nothing about prescriptions or dosage • It says nothing about health ■ Please read this The count is for reference. It can be wrong when pills overlap or the lighting is uneven. Check the dots on screen, and count by hand when the exact number matters.
