Don’t buy

I bought the card deck and the app thinking the app would come in handy. Sadly, the app doesn’t work. Nothing loads.

Scam

Purchased the flash cards. They are only available for 2 weeks. Not worth paying for.

It's Working Again

After being non-functional for many disappointing months, the app is finally working once again. I love it, but am optimistically keeping my fingers crossed!

App doesn’t work

I’ve tried contacting the developer a couple times before leaving a review and haven’t gotten a response. I own their flash cards and was hoping to be able to use the app as well. Very disappointed that this is still on the App Store and taking peoples money since it doesn’t load any content. Don’t waste your time o money.

FAQ

What does the Pilot Training App do?

This app provides digital flashcards to help users study for pilot training and certification exams. It focuses on delivering essential information without distractions, aiming to make learning efficient for aspiring and current pilots.

What are the key features of this app?

The app's main feature is its digital flashcard system, which mirrors physical flashcards for studying. It is designed to help users pass FAA written exams, conduct successful flight reviews, and prepare for oral exams. Currently, it offers VFR and IFR content.

How much does the Pilot Training App cost?

The app itself is free to download. However, each set of flashcards, such as VFR or IFR, is available as a separate in-app purchase. This allows users to buy only the study material they need.

What pilot certifications can I prepare for with this app?

Currently, the app offers flashcards for VFR (Visual Flight Rules) and IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) certifications. Content for Commercial pilot, ATP (Airline Transport Pilot), and Fundamentals of Instruction is planned for future release.

Is this app suitable for all pilot training needs?

This app is specifically designed as a study tool for passing aviation exams and reviews, focusing on core knowledge. It is not a comprehensive flight simulator or a replacement for hands-on flight training. Its strength lies in its focused, no-frills approach to exam preparation.
