What's New in PilotGuard

1.2

April 28, 2026

A few quality-of-life improvements for this update, focused on making the pre-flight flow smoother. What's new: Airport name lookup — As you type your departure or arrival airport code, PilotGuard now resolves the airport name in real time and shows it right below the field. No more second-guessing whether you typed the right code. Smarter error messages — If an airport exists but doesn't have a weather reporting station, the error now tells you the airport's full name so you know exactly what you're looking at. Better keyboard behavior — The keyboard now closes automatically when you tap "Fetch METAR & TAF", and the airport fields block invalid characters (no more accidentally pasting spaces or hyphens into an ICAO code).
