Broken. Was great but no longer works properly.
I've been a huge fan of Pinball Arcade since it was released and own 98 out of the 100 tables that have been released over the years. It worked fine until, well, it seems Farsight studios have abandoned it - the app has not been updated for years and consequently, it no longer works properly on newer devices even though the app page says my new phone is supported.
On my 17 Pro Max...
(1) The app loads OK and tables can be played in portrait mode but... the screen is distorted and vertically stretched.
(2) Load a table, turn the phone into landscape mode and there is no start button. Move the phone into portrait mode and the button appears but turn back to landscape and the app breaks - it continually switches between landscape and portrait and you can't get out of the app. The only way out is to lock and unlock the phone, then quickly swipe up and kill it the app in the app selector.
(3) Some of the tables refuse to complete downloading. The AC/DC and Ghostbusters tables start to download, get about 80% of the way then the download starts again, gets to 80% and starts again, and so on... The downloads for these tables are broken and people can't access these tables they have paid for.
This is a poor show by Farsight - people will have paid hundreds of pounds purchasing tables over the years and have been let down by lack of fixes, yet Far sight still sells the app and tables on the app store.
Farsight - either fix the app so it works on newer devices which your app page says it is compatible with, or withdraw it from the app store for those devices it doesn't work on.

Gekaufte Tische sind weg, die Menüführung ist antik und die Musik nervt. Schade drum! Nicht mehr empfehlenswert.
Issue with downloading some purchased games
I tried to download my purchased games, but ran into a problem with the AC/DC and Ghostbusters boards. The downloads just keep looping and nothing completes. Other game boards are fine though.

Black Screens on Load iPhone 14 Pro Max
Completely unplayable, I get a black screen with music when I launch
Own 57 tables and this app is still the best!
I hope the developers keep this app rolling forever, it really should be tied to a world pinball museum with benefactors donating the cost of licenses so we can play every table ever created. They do an amazing job of getting the tables authentically reproduced for iPad and phone… on my iPad Pro it’s surreal and fun playing so many of my favorite tables. It is sad that they lost the licenses for many tables and new customers can’t buy as many as we did when this started… but for everyone who loves pinball, the developer continues to make sure the app and tables work great...I’m sure their excellence will be rewarded in what ever comes next!

Need iPhone 18 notch support
Can you please add support so that the score can be seen on iPhones with the Dynamic Island? It can’t be removed from the screen.

Tables that I bought are gone
All of the tables that I purchased are gone. Apparently they lost the license with Ballys Midway and are not allowed to have those games anymore. Meanwhile I bought those games and they were taken away. I will never pay for another game from them since they can take it away any time. I think they should offer refunds or at least credit to buy new games. What a waste of money.

Aucune différence avec pinball arcade gratuit. En payant je pensais avoir accès à plus de tables, il n’en est rien. Dommage car Pinball arcade est par ailleurs un bon jeu fluide sur mon iPad 6.
Grundsätzlich gut, aber!
Ich mag die App sehr, nutze sie schon sehr lange, gerade um unterwegs mal ein kurzes Spiel zu machen.
Eigentlich müssten es 4 Sterne sein, aber da die Notch die Punkteanzeige komplett verdeckt (iPhone 14), ist der Witz komplett weg.
Bitte ändern, dann kann ich auch guten Gewissens meine Bewertung ändern!

Not what it used to be
This pinball app used to be the best with many older and real tables. My favorite was the Elvira Scared Stiff table as well as Mars Attacks. I bought the tables on this app years ago too. But they disappeared along with many other tables they used to have. No app even has the Elvira table now so I don’t know where it went. Now, this app is a skeleton of what it once was.

Great looking but not updated to work with newer phones notch
The notch covers the scoreboard for the tables which is a shame since it makes it unplayable. I would buy tables if this gets fixed.

Here from the start. Paid for a lot of tables that I no longer own. Surprise surprise.
Non working download for ghostbusters
Recently updated to iOS 18 and since then ghostbusters will not redownload,something I paid for in the past- Other stern tables are also affected but the majority of the other tables download with no issues.
Proper Support for iPhone 15?
I’ve been a supporter of Pinball Arcade ever since the Twilight Zone Kickstarter in 2012, and I really love playing this game. Unfortunately, the support specifically for iPhone 15 models (and, presumably, future iPhone models) is lacking. Due to the switch from a camera in bezel to the Dynamic Island, the screen resolution has changed. Now the game screen is noticeably stretched, and the dot matrix display on tables like Twilight Zone and Star Trek: TNG is all be cover up by the Dynamic Island. Can you please update the app to support the new displays so we can continue to enjoy these pinball tables on the go?

Was Lied to
So I’m a younger person who never was there in the heyday of pinball when it first came out, I’m a video game kid but my favorite pinball game I would play all day if I could was The Black Knight. Sadly I had to move away from the place with it so when I saw this place supposedly had the black knight I wanted to get it. Sadly not only does it cost money when you have to buy most of the pinball machines via a in app purchase but they got rid of a bunch of games including the black knight. So now I’m out a buck and disappointed.
