This app cannot do what it claims & it’s not supported by the creator

I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max & the iPad Pro 12.9” 4th Gen. After installing this app on both, neither one works because they will not progress past the login during setup.

I’ve tried to reach the creator at the support website (Twitter) but the site literally says that the creator cannot be messaged; the last post for this user was on October 30, 2018.

I’ve tried to contact Apple about the app (using the link on the app’s page) but it’s not willing to allow contact if you haven’t purchased the app.

So, now I’m saying, this app is dead on arrival and isn’t worth your time.

Works but needs changes

Several things would make this app much better.
The ability to choose multiple pins to delete at one time.
Choose when to recheck for broken pins, not every time you delete one.
A less busy animation while checking for broken pins (this is an accessibility issue for people with seizures and vertigo)
An option to check pins for redirects.

GREAT Customer service!!!

I was having difficulty getting the app to connect with my correct Pinterest account. The developer wrote me back almost immediately and helped me work through the problem. it took a few tries, but each time, he wrote me back right away, even in the evening! SUCH great service! I LOVE being able to delete my broken links...it’s very easy! My only suggestion would be to find a way to batch delete all broken links, instead of having to delete individually. Love this app!

Should have deleted the app the first time.

It would help if it would find the same broken links every time. Instead it goes from 11 broken pins to 5 broken pins to 7 broken pins to 5 broken pins back to 11 broken pins. None of them have been fixed and I highly doubt that half of them need to be fixed since your app seems a bit sketch anyway.

Thank you for your feedback! The reason that we need your authorization to pin for you is that the PinFixer feature finds a similar website to your pin with the broken link, deletes the old pin, then repins with the working link. If we don't have your permission to pin for you, we wouldn't be be able to fix your pin. 😄

Great ideas but didn’t work for me

Searched boards I know have broken links and it said they all had no broken links.

I used it on my first board. It actually said ALL my pins were broken. When I checked the first few they were just fine. Went to the second board. I had 123 pins. It said I have 123 broken links. Uhm.... no. No, I don’t.

OMG PERFECT

Pinterest should acquire this app...i have so many broken links on my boards and I love the new ability to actually fix them..it works really well and always seems to find a similar website. Thanks guys!

Not worth it

Yes it finds broken links but I paid the extra to have them fixed - responses
1.this was a unique pin sorry or
2. A whole list of other pages that are same genre but not what I originally had. I tried to repair 14 broken links then gave up

Disappointed

Wants permission to pin new things and create new boards even though it's supposed to just check links in pins. And it doesn't even do those checks correctly. I was surprised that it showed a lot of my recent pin links as broken, I went back to Pinterest and those links were not broken at all. So it's useless. Great idea, but it would need to be reliable.

We've since limited the permissions we request, as our original permissions were based on future features as well, please consider updating your review. We also think any bugs you experienced in the early version of the app have been ironed out and only truly broken links should be flagged for you now. Thank you! 🙌
