Pine Social is a unique social networking platform designed to connect people locally in a way that promotes community, positivity, and mindful engagement. Unlike traditional dating apps, Pine Social is not a dating platform.Instead, it focuses on helping users discover and connect with like-minded individuals in their area through meaningful interactions, real-time event streaming, and content sharing. Our signature features include: Live Streaming at Local Events Users can stream live from events they attend—concerts, meetups, shows, and more—and earn rewards for contributing to the community experience. Swipe Cards for Easy Connections While Pine Social offers a swipe-style interface, it is *not intended for dating purposes. The swipe feature was thoughtfully implemented to simplify how users discover and engage with people they want to connect with—based on shared interests, activities, and local events, not romantic compatibility. Wellbeing-First Design We care deeply about our users' mental health. Pine Social introduces a playful, yet mindful feature called “Spin the Wheel”, which gives users a randomized time limit for app usage. After their time runs out, they’re encouraged to take a healthy break. Users can purchase additional time if needed, but our design intentionally *does not encourage prolonged usage*, prioritizing wellness over screen time. Pine Social is built to foster genuine connections in real life, empower community participation, and promote healthier digital habits—all while making social networking fun, safe, and rewarding.
