So far I just can’t get this app to work at all. Such a dumb thing for Ping to be doing.
Doesn’t work
Love the idea and have a couple ping putters in mind to try out and hopefully buy. But the putting stroke portion of the app doesn’t actually work. From what I hear it’s for fitters only. None around me anywhere that have this option.

Used to be great when using with £25 cradle and iPhone to use putting app. Now this feature is gone. Karsten Solhiem would be furious. This is not in the ethos of Ping golf. Is Mike Baldwin running the company now?

This App has massively improved my putting. Delighted that the “guest” feature has been added to allow non-PGA professional account holders to use the app again. Please re-release more club holsters for new iPhones and Androids!

I bought an iPhone cradle for this app where’s my refund ping!
update killed 3 years worth of golf rounds data
I hade been using and enjoying the Apple Watch app since it was introduced and cannot figure out why PING deleted all of my old rounds. I had even paid $ for additional features. There was no warning, it simply vanished from my watch.

Why limit the app to fitters only, I loved using the original app and was shocked the new version is restricted. Took a great thing and ruined it!!

Can’t use the app anymore unless you’re a ping fitter. Now have a useless cradle. Bad on your customers Ping, I have 5 ping putters!!
Ping sells something I can’t use
They sell—and charge—for the putting/iPhone cradle. It requires Ping’s app. When I tried to use it, it requires an authorized (by Ping) professional. As a fan of Ping clubs, I am deeply disappointed. This is close to a swindle. I thought better of this company and respected the brand.
Bought an Accessory then they cancelled access
Bought an accessory from ping to use this app and then shortly after they removed my access to the app. Ping is normally one of the most customer focused golf companies but this move leaves a very sour taste in my mouth and upset a lot of people. I don’t understand why they would remove access to the app.

Complete disregard for customers
Used the app for a short time- even paid for a proper cradle the stats and help with putting practice were great, then ping update the app and decide to lock it out for anyone other than authorised dealers- I get why they should lock down fitting- but why the practice part! Fantastic customer service right there!!! 😒

Update wish they would allow purchasers to use the app during Covid isolation. Horrible update.
Long time Ping user. The new update messed everything up. Was looking to practice putting with the app over the winter months. Of no use to the golfer only fitters. Old app was better.

I had loved this app and was looking for ways to get my newer iphone to attach to the putter but with this new update it is no longer a useable app for me. Ping fitters only, how does that help me practice?

The IT at ping needs to the blamed. Why not keep the old app and create a new one for fitters. Crazy stuff

This updated app is not for the public! Bring back the other app so people can practice putting at home! What a terrible terrible decision by Ping!
