Was great, then they tool packet loss away, now does not work

Was great, recommended it to hundreds of people to diagnose internet issues … but they took the packet loss column away … and now 2024-07 the app no longer works, can’t see any buttons to stset a new trace, nothing .. just a list of past traces ???

Nice app but having issue with resolution

Everything is working perfectly accept screen resolution

Needs updates

Needs updates - Purchased the app, Noticed that you cannot start a custom trace due to the menu being gone. The menu at the top you can see the text squished on the left hand side.

Indispensable

An indispensable tool for network nerds on-the-go

No Ping plotter Cloud Support

This app doesn’t make sense. Why have an app from a company that creates PingPlotter Cloud that doesn’t have Ping Plotter Cloud support? I don’t get it.

It’s barely adequate

First off since iOS 16 there are UI bugs that cause the buttons on the main screen disappear. Secondly make this background properly, it’s a joke that I have to keep the app on my screen…

Virtually abandoned.

Weird how poorly managed this app is.

Great app. I love it

Traceroute graph in real time. Good graph layout. I use it on mac, windows and on ipad. This is very convenient to use the same tool on all devices.

poor execution, much better ping apps available

as a network engineer, I’m familiar with this companies ping plotter tool on desktop. It’s very well done and useful, I have purchased it and use it on occasions where I need to test end to end, or an entire channel.

So I was very surprised when I tried this app and noticed how poor of an execution the iOS version is.
The interface does not seem to be aligned or scaled properly on iPhone.

Additionally there are pretty much zero settings directly related to the pings.
When testing Wi-Fi on a mobile device, one needs to be able to set the send interval very low, for example on other Ping apps you can set it as low as 0.1 seconds, ( ie 100ms , or sending 10 pings every one second). The one setting I found like this only went down to 0.5, and when I changed it to that nothing seemed to change, pings were still sending every two seconds which is not very useful.

Additionally what you get for the nine dollar upgrade is a joke.

I would really like to see this app redone and brought more closely to the standards of this company’s desktop app.

Please allow on M1 computers

There is no reason not to allow this to be installed on M1 Mac OS 12+ machines. It would be grest to test on my Mac Book Pro

Super Idee

Habe Pingplotter auf all meinen Geräten.
Unglaublich hilfreich um Netzwerk/Latenzprobleme zu beheben.
Damit bekommt man leicht raus, ob der Accesspoint, Router, Provider oder Server das Problem ist.

Wow. A great desktop tool now in mobile

Invaluable. If you need a quick way to test, PingPlotter is the gold standard. This works great and I’m pleasantly surprised to find they put this out for free! Hopefully it receives regular updates but as it is, I’ve been able to use it with great success.

Love it

Helps me deal with my horrible cable company every time they ask me to restart my modem or tell me my router is cussing the issues. I love this app. The UX/UI can use a major rework to improve functionality.

No longer show % packet dropped! Yuk

The latest release has changed the display for the worse. The packet dropped percentage per node isn’t shown greatly reducing the usefulness of the tool.

No longer working

Just crashes once opened. Crash log shared and r&d doesnt react.

but even one star worth

do not update to this "IOS13 enabled" version, as it crashes constantly on purpose, makes the App unusable on purpose !
Even you paid for by the App, they want you to pay 85€ per year, just for their upgrade service, which i don't need as a private user

Version 1.3.0 crashing after initial load

I love this app. But after the recent update it is unusable. It crashes every time it loads. It gets to the list of recent hosts, and then crashes. No error message. Force quitting doesn’t help.
