THE GAP THIS FILLS Ask anyone learning biblical Hebrew what breaks their flashcards and you get the same answer: the cards give you a verb with no stem. Knowing dabar means "speak" is not enough. It appears in piel 1,092 times and in qal only 41. A deck that teaches you the qal is teaching you the rare form. Pink Aleph puts the attested stems on the card, counted from the text itself.
