One Problem
I Love ❤️ the app and what you do for the LGBTQ Community. The only problem is when logging into my account after putting in the necessary information and logging in. All I get is a blank black screen and when tapping on it. Just brings me back to the account log in like nothing ever was attempted. Please 🙏🏻 fix this issue. Thank You.

Slow and drains battery
I love Pink News. I love the site. I love the content. But…
This app doesn’t work well on my phone. Maybe my phone is too old but it frequently takes over a minute to load a new feed or fails and needs another refresh. And if I forget to exit the app completely after using it, it will drain my battery in the background.

FOREVER PRIDE
It is nice to have a news service where I can read and learn about news and events, stories related to LGBTQ+. Having grown up in the sixties everything then was protest oriented or political negativity.
Update more frequently
Same news articles for days. Nothing new regularly. Gets old seeing the same articles day after day. Nothing new to read.

at first, as a trans person, i really valued pinknews as a source of positive lgbt news and i enjoyed using the app. now i’m uninstalling it and never visiting the website again as i’ve learned that the founders have been accused of sexual abuse of multiple junior team members. the community deserves better than this, and i can’t in good conscience continue to support this source and app.

I deleted this app when it came to light all the awful things the owners did. I went and reread some articles and you see how all of them are written to pink bait the community not empower it.

I’ve enjoyed this app for a while now new updates have it made it better in my opinion & the ability to see lgbtq+ news & be able to pick certain topics to show up on your feed of sorts is great.
Inability to log in
Whenever I attempt to login to an account on the app it doesn’t let me and whenever I attempt to reset my password it says that there’s an error and doesn’t let me reset my password

We love the app but it’s a little better than when I downloaded it last time and I feel like it would be better if you put me in the news
Poor performance
I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and a fibre connection so not the worst tech in the world. However scrolling through the stories causes severe stuttering which was so annoying I deleted the app. Probably the issue is caused like so many other modern apps and packed to the rafters with trackers and advertising. Not a great first experience Guys 😔

Clunky
Can be slow to load and a lot of notifications load a blank screen and have to quit and find it yourself. Would also recommend they stop using social media post in news that are for threads if they don’t reproduce the thread as it means, especially with X, that you can never read the thread without signing up to X. Rather be signing up to Pink News and not have them be a poster board for X 🫨

so for a while now there's been no point "refreshing" the app in filtered stories mode, you just get the oops message - so the quickest way to update the feed is to hard quit the app and launch it again
