About
A promise to your family. A vow to the person you love. Something you swore to a friend.
You meant every word of it at the time. Then months pass, and it turns into "you said" and "no, I didn't" — and something small becomes an argument.
PinkyPromise is a contract app built for one thing: promises between couples, partners, families, and friends. You write one down, pass a single phone from hand to hand, and everyone signs it themselves, right there, in their own handwriting.
■ Promises people make with it
・Say "welcome home" every single day
・Go on a real date at least once a month
・Split the housework fairly
・Take the family to the park every weekend
・Quit smoking
・Lose a few pounds before we see each other again
Use it for a couple agreement, relationship rules, or house rules for moving in together.
■ What you can do
・Write a promise as a certificate — title, terms, what happens if it is kept or broken, and a deadline
・Pass one phone around and collect a handwritten signature from everyone involved — works for three or more people, too
・Watch it seal with a pinky swear stamp the moment the last signature lands
・Get a reminder on the deadline, and another one three days later if you have not recorded the result yet
・Get a monthly check-in for promises without a deadline
・Record it as Kept or Not kept once the deadline passes
・Save the certificate as an image and share it
・Look back on every promise you have made, gathered in Memories
■ Easy to start
・No account needed
・Everyone signs on one phone, so the other person does not need the app
・Your promises are stored only on your phone
None of this is legally binding. What it gives you is the small, warm shot of sincerity that comes from having actually signed your name to something.
Pinky promise. Cross my heart and hope to die.
The weight a promise carried when you were a child — now that you are not.
Promise made, promise kept.
