About
Set your pinball machine to the exact pitch it was designed for. PinLevel reads
front-to-back pitch and side-to-side level to 0.1°, then tells you which leg to
turn and by how much - in millimetres and bolt turns, not guesswork.
A generic bubble level tells you "not level". PinLevel tells you "raise the back
left leg one and a half turns".
LEVEL IT PROPERLY
• Live readout of pitch and side-to-side to 0.1°, colour-coded green when you're
inside tolerance and yellow when you're close.
• Presets for the angles the games were built around - Easy 5°, Standard 6.5°,
Fast 7° - or a custom target from 3° to 8°.
• Per-leg guidance on a top-down diagram of the machine: raise, lower or hold,
with an estimated amount in mm and turns for your leg thread pitch.
• It walks the real-world method: side-to-side first, then pitch on the rear
legs, then re-check - because each one moves the other.
HANDS-FREE
• A tuner-style tone rises toward a bright, steady note as you approach level,
so you can keep your eyes and both hands on the leg bolt.
• Spoken cues call out which side to raise, and a haptic confirms each axis as
it locks in.
• Focus mode: a big, high-contrast readout you can read at arm's length, that
goes solid green when the machine is ready to play.
ON YOUR APPLE WATCH
• The full live readout on your wrist, including the per-leg tiles - check the
machine without crouching down to the phone.
• Switch machines with the Digital Crown and change your target angle from the
watch.
CHECK IT WITHOUT LIFTING THE GLASS
• Save a glass reference per machine while the playfield is level. From then on,
a quick reading on the glass answers "has it drifted?" in seconds - no tools,
no lifting.
YOUR COLLECTION
• Save a named setup per game with its own target and dimensions, and switch
between them instantly.

What's New in PinLevel
1.2.2
August 11, 2026
PinLevel can now ask you to rate it. Once. You know how some apps nag you for a rating every third time you open them? This isn't that. You get asked after you've actually finished levelling a machine - never while the phone is face-down on the playfield - and at most once per update. Answer it or ignore it, and it's gone. If PinLevel has saved you some crouching, a rating genuinely helps other pinball owners find it.
