Pinnochio
Total waste of money!!!! The way English is spoken is dreadful and an obvious translation from an Asian language. Pronunciation is very bad and background voices make it difficult to listen to. Do not waste your money on this.
Almost good
Although the illustrations are beautiful, the language used by the storyteller is not correct. The story was obviously translated to English and uses some incorrect or awkward words and phrases. I found this to be true of all the stories I downloaded from this company. Very disappointing. I've had to delete them.

Awful narration and voices
The voices have a terribly thick Asian accent! I don't want my son learning to talk English that way. I was so upset when I heard the narration. I want my money back!
Nonsense and poor English
The story is gibberish and the grammar throughout is shocking. Buying this app was to help teach my child to read, there is little point doing that incorrectly.
Talking of using a dead child's skin to make a drum!? WTF.
The animations are rudimentary and just repeated/resized throughout. The 'interaction' is highly-limited.
I will stick to using poisson rouge's site and similar.

Pinocchio's Daring Journey
Do not buy this . The narration is done in horrible broken English, barely understandable . I bought it after enjoying Aladdin by the same company and was very disappointed!!

I downloaded this app then previewed it on my i pad & immediately deleted it. will not let my 5 year old listen to this. if the reading could be done in English by an English speaking person & the grammatical errors are fixed & the word "hell" removed. i would consider this story. narrator cannot even pronounce Pinnochio..pittiful!

English in all its glory here... Oops... I mean Chinglish. The worst of all educational materials but the best of laughs at a party.
If you get this for your kid, forget it. You are destroying his or her future English diction.

The grammar and written English are terrible in places.
The person speaking aloud does not seem to be able to speak English very well.
My recommendation is to not download and I would never pay money for any of the updates or other books in the series.

This book is horrible. The narrator can't even pronounce certain words correctly. The graphic is so nice, why not try to find someone who has a command in English!

This has shocking English and is not the sort of thing to help your child become better at speaking and grammar. Avoid.

We have a lot of bilingual bookapps - the best ones are edited and read by native speakers of each language (Mandarin/English)
This book, just by looking at the screen shots above, was never edited by a native English speaker. There are not only terrible mistakes, the story is lost in this poor translation. There are other great bilingual bookapps out there - look at those before spending money on this one.

Bad reading
I think that the bad reading /ascent kills it, it's Pinocchio, not " pewqouw, or what every that was... other wise it's a great book,
