Two big problems
I agree with everything the other reviewers said about the partner being dumber than a box of rocks. I’ll take the bid and the partner will have two jacks of Trump and doesn’t pass either one. So I don’t make a full run, only to see the dumb bot play both jacks. It’s maddening.
There’s also a technical glitch where the app is on the phone and it won’t activate from the icon. I’ve had to delete the app then download it again to make it work on my iPhone 17, but this has gone on for years. I’ve probably reinstalled it 20 times and it gets old.
If you made it work right, I would pay for this app.

The creators do not have a clear understanding of the game. They don’t seem to understand that pinochle is the Queen of Spades and the Jack of Diamonds. Also, they often lead with a ten and don’t know that the ace is higher.
I’m able to open the game
I have tried multiple many times, on and off over the course of a few months to open this game!
This version of Pinochle is my absolute favorite, but I’ve been unable to play it for months on end because, as I’ve said it won’t open.

But it froze up so trying to get in again.
The game plays are terrible.....why give away a family and have no points.....I win most so mine...but not anyone else...who is playing the other hands...a monkey????

I paid for one, it doesn’t work. I tap on it & it immediately shuts down. I deleted it & downloaded this one and it does the same thing it will not open. It also immediately shuts down. How in the world can you play a game that you pay for or the one that you don’t pay for if they don’t open?

Something is seriously wrong with this game. Partner doesn’t seem to know what pinochle or double pinochle is and always throws it away causing us to lose 40 or 300 points and not making the bid. Very frustrating! AI is not very intelligent and he/she certainly doesn’t know how to play pinochle. Time to delete this game.

Doesn’t load on apple
When I downloaded this app it worked great on apple. I even bought the upgraded version. And after about 1 year. It started to not load on my apple devices right. Won’t load on my iPhone 13 Pro 99.9% of the top me. Been happening for a couple of years. I sent reports back on the app when I got a load error but as of now no fixes. Don’t waste your money if you have an iPhone.

Pinochle
In passing cards your partner is passing garbage if they have nothing, you should try to pass aces. I see they have aces and they never pass them. Passing is horrible.

I would have given the game no stars if I could have. Dingbats! I guess you must have dingbats for programmers! In the pass 4 cards mode, my Computer partner. Keeps the cards I need to make a straight. In a real game their going to pass 4 different cards in the Trump suit I named. The other problem is when my partner starts leading trump to take tricks. Once you take all the trump from the other players. It’s time to stop playing trump cards. And keep them until you need them. By using up all the Trump cards in your hand, your opening up the suits that where getting trumped. Therefore putting the opposite team members in control of the rest of the hand! So like I said dingbats with no pinochle game strategy knowledge programmed this game.

Getting worse. Yes it is a computer program but when I pass two queen of spades to my partner and it returns to me two jack of diamonds? In hindsight I guess this is ok, after all the game is called PINOCHLE not DOUBLE PINOCHLE!
Again, this is what the computer had as points and my hand. The computer passed to me both jack of diamonds. Maybe a programmer that understands how the game is played!

Pinochle
The robot partner doesn’t “understand” the concept of queen of spades and jack of diamonds for pinochle. If my partner bids diamonds and in addition to diamonds I pass the queen of spades “he” invariably returns the queen of spades to me. Same thing happens if my partner bids spades and in addition to spades I pass a jack of diamonds. He returns it every time when he has a queen of spades in his hand.

Lousy Game
It’s evident that the programmers do not understand how to play the game. They often lead with a ten even when the aces haven’t been played. Additionally, they don’t seem to know that pinochle is the queen of spades and the jack of diamonds and that it’s worth points. It would be nice if they could “fix” the game by learning strategy and then charge us for it. I would gladly pay for this game if they could fix it.

I love this game and hope it will be available when I upgrade my iphone! My only frustration is the partner play. You never throw a winning card on a play where your partner already won it!! Sad when my partner throws an ace on mine!
Needs work
Need to get a real pinochle player to help with programming. Computer does not play like a real player would play. Like throwing Aces off instead of K’s or 10’s. Breaking up double pinochle when passing cards.
