Great app just a few recommendations
Hey this app is amazing and really helped with a lot of items I couldn’t have found on my own, but my only issue with it is that it doesn’t cover any dlc content. If this changes I will change my review to 5 stars till then it will remain 4 stars
Map needs updating its not complete don’t even show X-01
Map doesn’t even show the X-01 power armor locations all it show are T45 locations so it’s not a complete map so it’s not worth my time cause I’m sure it’s missing lots of other stuff besides the armor and probably don’t have the DLC updates…

A very good app for £1.00 I love how you can filter what items you want to find then mark them off also using fast travel from the app is a cool feature. Helped me get my platinum for the game
Would be perfect if...
It would be perfect if it allowed you to filter out locations you have fully explored. It lets me cross things off per location, add a flag in there that I can select to say complete. Then in the filter section add an option to hide completed locations.
Also a setting to let me change the colour for a location for a quick overview. I could use that to flag areas I want to return to, areas I have completed etc etc Like tags on the Mac, in the pop up for each location have no colour or one of say 7 presets.
It connects fine to my PS4, very useful. I'm not sure how much information it can get from the console, if it was possible for it to automatically cross things off that I have already got then that would be awesome. If I had been using it from the start then that wouldn't be an issue but I am level 52 so don't want to start all over.
It's an excellent app, if you own Fallout 4 then you should definitely grab this app.
If you have problems connecting then make sure you’re on the same wifi, turn any VPN off etc. Works great.

Love this app, would have been 5 stars but I gave it 4 as I'd love to see a tick box next to all the location and item information entries, so you could tick them off when you have found them.

This app is phenomenal. It works seamlessly with fallout 4 and has everything a map application should have. It filters based on your preference, it gives you a way to cross items off once you find them, which removes the location from the filtered view (I adore this feature), and the locations are freakishly accurate.
Like most great guide or companion apps, it needs just a little extra to work perfectly. So here's the big one: it allows you to sync to your gameplay on PC and PS4, which I use both. Only problem is it drops the connection more times than it maintains it. Most I've gotten on a constant connection is around 5 minutes, which creates a problem when you're grinding for all that illusive power armor around the Commonwealth. Fix this, you instantly get 5 stars out of me.
A few things I would like to see improved, but not required to get my highest rating: 1) update the criteria on the power armor, not all that are listed as T-45 are in fact only T-45, I found 3 complete sets of T-51b where it was listed to be only T-45. There are 3 places on the map where it's listed to be T-45 armor where it is in fact leveled. Go there before level 28 and you'll definitely miss out on X-01. 2) I'd like to be able to filter through vendors in different locations for legendary armor, weapons, and junk shipments for base building. I believe if you add these, this app will be completely polished and without fault. 3) possibly a guide to locating power armor in some of the places listed. Here's my example: Postal Square, south of Goodneighbor. This app claim to have leveled power armor and a few other goodies. I found the place, I could not for the life of me find the armor. It's the only set I have left in the entire game.
Sorry for the lengthy review, but these are my concerns. Great app, well worth the download.

App is great!
I love this app! It actually has unmarked locations too which was a nice surprise. One thing I'd like is to zoom out all the way to view the entire map. Other than that great job! Please keep the updates coming! Id hate to see an app this good fall behind.
Good app but could be better
It's a useful app but it would be even better if we were able to connect to an Xbox game! Please add that :) otherwise great app
Simple but awesome
This is exactly what I have been wanting: an app that shows me where something is and then helps me get there instead of me going back-and-forth between a guide and the game or a website. Dropping pins for places I don't have discovered in the game is awesome.
Good app but won't connect to Xbox and ps4 because made by different company
It is very good but everyone says it can't connect to Xbox or ps4 as it is not made from fallout 4 it is made by a different company but still very useful and a good app to know where things are
Good but problems.
App is useful if you dont want to use it as an actual 'pip-boy'. However, i do. And the app will not connect to my xbox which is disappointing.

I don't normally write reviews but thought I would make an exception for this app as it has been a very useful tool for this game.
Firstly, the map is very good; accurate placement of locations, whether primary, secondary or point of interest. The info for each location given (items that can be found, faction etc also seems spot on) and you can mark off the items found.
In regards to other people who have been unable to get the app to connect to the game and work as a second screen real time map I have had had no problem. It sees my PlayStation and connects fine. I do get the odd occasion when it drops out or forgets where you are but this is few and far between. When displaying local map I do notice the game getting more jerky than it would if you use the official pip-boy app, but you can quickly switch back to world map in the middle of a fight if this becomes an issue.
The only feature I really think this app could benefit from is the ability to mark a location as cleared/discovered, perhaps changing the colour of the map marker to indicate this? You can place your own map markers and also add comments to locations which is a nice feature, but again could be improved by the map markers changing colour to reflect this.
For the price of the app, and what it can do I think you cannot go wrong... Just a few minor changes and it would be perfect in my eyes.. Just hoping it gets updated to reflect the new DLC when they become available!
