What's New in PipeBook

1.0.2

August 11, 2026

The welder's gap now defaults to 1/16″ instead of no gap, because a butt-welded fitting has a root opening and the old default quietly made every cut a little long. Shared cut lengths now state the gap they assumed, right on the diagram. Thanks to the piping engineer on r/pipefitter who made both cases.

Productive, Awesome app!!

Been in asphalt and utility work for years and always hated flipping through binders or digging through random PDFs on my phone. PipeBook is the first app that just gives me clean, fast answers on pipe sizes, specs, and data without the clutter.
Interface is simple and fast. I can pull what I need in a couple taps even with gloves on. Accurate info, no ads, no nonsense. Already using it daily on jobs and it’s saved me real time. Worth every penny for anyone who deals with pipe on a regular basis.
Developers clearly know the industry. Keep updating it.

Solid, works with no service

Solid, works with no service
Bought after seeing it on reddit. Ive got pipe trades pro and this is better for takeoffs honestly. Checked a bunch of the 6" numbers against my pocket pal, all good so far.
Wish the keypad was a little bigger. Im in vaults a lot so no service is the main thing for me. Worth 13.

Super simple and intuitive

This is so intuitive I wouldn’t have to teach grandpa how to use it. And it works off line so I don’t have to hold my dang phone over my head just to get some signal. And finally someone is sensible enough to stop with the subscriptions buy once and it’s yours.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for my first review…ever! I couldn’t have asked for a better one. I’m glad you like it.
