Vital Tool for Pipers
This metronome and its various settings have added clarity and cleanliness to my playing and helped with expression by being able to break down beats sub beats with accents by tune type. The visual cues make it easier to place notes and embellishments where they need to be in rhythm and I can use Bluetooth to connect to a large speaker for when I’m on pipes. Highly recommended for all ability levels! Well done!

Perfect for bagpipers and pipe bands

I really like this metronome. The only thing I would like more is to have some drum sounds for the metronome. A nice base drum and some snare would just be the icing on the cake.

I’ve found the Pipers Metronome to be a great aid to learning new tunes and expressing note combinations precisely. I’m recommending it to all of my friends.
Beware - inaccurate BPM
I like the features generally but the major issue is the BPM tick is not accurate. You can test this yourself by setting this metronome alongside a different one, set them both to 60bpm, and start them at the exact same time. After a few moments you'll notice the clicks will drift apart from each other, then reconverge, then drift, repeat. You can also compare the tick to a digital clock with a seconds counter, at 60bpm this app drifts pretty severely.

Love it! Use it every day
This is a brilliant app. So helpful. Much better than a basic metronome, with tune types and rhythms built in. Can even create and save custom settings for anything, including Medleys
Ok, but limited sound options
Rhythm and time signature options are very well done. I find the 3 sounds for beat options that are available are hard on the ears, especially when using ear-buds. Especially the “cow bell”. You desperately need a base drum and snare option!

This is a very useful tool. I see mostly positives in its use. Being able to have a metronome automatically change tempos is a boon.
My only problem with it is that Premium is far too expensive. $29.99 CAD for some extra features (and not get interrupted occasionally with a popup mid tune) is too much money. I just don’t see the value in that.

Great Features to Take Your Piping to the Next Level
I am really enjoying the features, particularly the pulse options. Coming from more traditional music one of my biggest challenges has been the unique timing of the dot cuts in bagpipe music. Being able to set the metronome to the type of song I am playing and being able to adjust the types of pulses to help me get the exact timing of the dot cut is helping me prepare for my first competition and take my piping to that next level.

Yay Accessibility!
I went to practice today and was sad when the beta wouldn't open but then I realized that it's because the accessibility changes we made during the beta phase are now live! So I'm really excited to share with other bagpipe students or pipers that either have a little bit of vision or no vision at all that this app now works with VoiceOver on all Apple devices, including my iPad!

Love being able to subdivide individual bars to maintain feel through tricky passages. Also being able to program tune breaks is a game changer! Love this app.
